Charlie POV

"We should get food first."

It was the same reoccurring nightmare, the accident.

I sat there in the drivers seat smiling as if I didn't know what was going to happen.

"You look like a kid who just got promised ice cream."

My head turned to her for a split second as I prepared for impact hoping this is not one of the nights where Reece gets killed.

As if on cue the car came barreling through hitting us with direct force causing the car to flip.

I gripped onto her hand as both of us gripped onto dear life. My leg gave of the familiar sound of it breaking as I managed to look at Reece who's face was unrecognizable as it blood running down it but the biggest concern was how it looked like she couldn't bare the pain much longer.

"Reece stay with me!" I shouted the familiar words slipped off my tongue as I felt her hand slowly becoming limp.

"I love you Charlie, so much never forget that."

"I love you too Reece, but you can't talk like that, your going to be alright."

I felt guilty, the last words she heard from my mouth where lies.

I watched helplessly as the life fluttered out of her eyes as her hand fell limp in mine.

"Reece, no please stay with me" I cried.

She had taken so much of the impact and I couldn't do anything. I tried to get to her to support her limp head which made me let out an agonizing scream.

"Charlie."

A voice seemed to echo through my head. I let out another cry of pain as I tried to get to Reece.

"Charlie, wake up!"

I shot straight up with a scream threatening to leave my mouth which came out as a hoarse sounding whine.

"Are you okay?"

Reece sat next to me propped up on thousands of pillows looking at me wide eyed with her good hand on my shoulder as she must have been about to shake my shoulder to wake me up.

I weakly nodded, feeling my heart race a million times a minute, hearing the ear bleeding sound of the car flipping over and over again echoing through my head.

"Charlie I may not remember like, anything but I have a gut feeling that tells me that your lying to me." Reece moved her hand to my chin lifting my head up to face her.

"It was just a bad dream, I'm fine don't worry about it" I lied putting a fake smile knowing she probably won't believe.

"You were screaming and crying in your sleep I may have amnesia but I'm not stupid" she said giving me a look making a blush spread across my cheeks with embarrassment.

"Fine, I lied when I said the nightmares had stopped they still happen sporadically."

"Charlie you could have told me" Reece sighed beginning to run her fingers through my messy hair.

"You've got bigger problems to worry about, and I have my own problems to deal with like for example this stupid brace I've been wearing under my clothes for the couple ribs I broke" I mumbled, Reece's head perked up glaring at me when she realized what I had said.

"You can glare at me all you want in the morning, if you said I was screaming than I most likely woke up the whole house and your parents are going to kill me if I keep you from sleeping so we both need to go back to bed."

She opened her mouth to reply but as she opened it it was closed, sinking back into her mounds of pillows.

I felt the lingering glance of her eyes on me but it soon began to fade as we both fell asleep.
