Childhood Friend

Chapter 9

Hi, I'm going to try something different where I tell it in Charlie's point of view, tell me if I shoud do this more often, bye!

I couldn't sleep, I would doze for a few minutes than the slightest noise would wake me up.

Maybe I could sleep better if - if Reece was here.

"I'm just going to go, I'm just going to continue  second guesing myself" I sighed slipping out of my bed.

What if I wake- Charlie stop worrying everything will be fine.

I'm so tired I'm having coversations in my head, great.

I stopped in my tracks right in front of her door, just breathe.

I cracked open her door slipping in.

"Charlie?" Reece said mumbled waking up.

"Yeah its me, I didn't mean to wake you up, I couldn't sleep" I whispered sitting on the corner of the bed.

"Finally, I was hoping you would come in here, I wasnt really asleep" Reece said smilng at me, and pulling me down so I was laying down.

I laughed as she snuggled up to my side, I wrapped my arms around her kissing her mess of her hair.

If she only knew that she had me wrapped around her finger.

"Charlie?" a voice whispered brushing their fingers through my hair.

"Yeah?" I mumbled not wanting to wake up even though I'd would be happy to wake up and see Reece in the morning.

"I know your awake" She giggled poking my cheek which resulted in me turning over, on top of her.

"Ok I'm sorry for waking you up" she said with a sign of defeat in her voice.

"I forgive you" I smiled opening my eyes to see her hovering above me.

She smiled, brushing her finger through my hair, making chills run down my whole He body.

"What are you thinking?" I smiled poking her dimple.

"I'm thinking that I'm really lucky to have you as a best friend and um what" She said before I kindly interupted her.

"A boyfriend" I smiled stealing a kiss.

The kiss took her by shock but she began to realx into the kiss.

"I'm lucky to have you as a best friend and a boyfriend, and I couldn't ask for anyone better for the job" she smiled, wrapping her arm around me and giving me a kiss.

"I'm lucky to have you as best friend and a girlfriend, and that I've waited so long to truely hold  you and, and kiss you" I smiled.

She blushed, I accompished my goal.

"Only us tell important things like truely becoming girlfriend and boyfriend, while still in bed" She laughed falling into my lap.

"Yeah, I can make breafast how does French Toast sound with bacon?" He whispered right in my ear, giving me the chills.

"Really?!" She squealed sounding like a child.

I nodded making her jump up out of my lap and out of the room to where I'm guessing the kitchen.

"Hurry up!" She called obviously hyped about my french toast.

"I'm coming!" I called back.

I need to thank my mom for showing me how to cook french toat recently, so I could make it specifically for her.
