Chapter 12

"Cmon, lets get out of here" he grinned, taking my hand and leading me past all the people to his car.

"And we're off" he smirked driving out of the parking lot.

"We should get food first" I hinted.

He chuckled but continued to have his chessey grin.

"You look like a little kid who just got promised ice cream" I laughed.

He turned to look at me for a split second, but it was too late, a car wasn't paying attention and went through the red light hitting my side of the car with direct force.

The car hit us with so much force it caused the car to flip.

My head hit the dashboard more than once, and getting multiple cuts and gashes all over my head, the blood running down my face.

I felt pressure in my leg and sharp pain, my leg was broken.

"Reece stay with me!!" Charlie yelled still holding onto my hand through the whole wreck.

"I love you Charlie, so much never forget that" I cried beginning to be overcame by all the pain.

"I love you too Reece, but you can't talk like that, your going to be alright" He talked beginning to also sound like the pain was getting the best of him.

His words began to fade in to low mummers, as I felt the pain throughout my whole body become dull as I slipped into unconsciousness.

"She has severe deep gashes through out her face and arm" voices mumbled together in my head, becoming one endless blur.

I slipped in and out of consciousness but my body just gave up and fell unconscious and stayed that way.

"The anesthesia is wearing off, go get doctor Matthew" a voice said talking above me.

The lights above  blinded me, the shadows of the people slowly came into focused.

"Hi Im doctor Matthew, Im going to ask you some questions, its just procedure, if you can't answer its ok, are you ready?" the doctor told me, sitting down in a chair next to me.

I gave her the sign of approval and she begam to ask me questions.
"What's your full name?" She asked.

"Its-its Reece Marie John-nson" I said developing a nervous stutter.

"I know that was a easy question, but I have one last question, do you remember anything previous the car accident?" Dr. Matthew asked.

"Car accident? Is that why I'm in the hospital? And, and why can't I remember anything? What happened?!" I begged, becoming a nervous wreck.

"Reece please calm down and I'll explain what I know" she asked sounding anxious.

I nodded as she sat back down in her chair and began to explain.

"You got in a severe car wreck, you got banged up quite a bit, and in the process you got got severe head trauma which included a slight brain hemorrhage which in result you have Retrogade Amnesia" She reported.

I felt all the eyes of the nurses and Dr. Matthew on me as the last words left her lips. The whole room began to spin and I slipped asleep. The nurse had switched my IV.
