Across The Hall

School

I took a minutes to analyze what was happening around me. Kids running around trying to get to their classes, but I watched. I watched how a girl couldn't get her locker open, how the boy across from me was sagging his pants. And the couple clashing faces behind a locker door. For only coming to school three days a week, it really sucks. For some reason, my parents won't take me out for the whole week. All three kids do online schooling Monday and Tuesday?

"Hey! You know Cameron Dallas!!" A girl said from behind me right when I sat down in class. Wasn't sure her name. Just hoping she wasn't another fangirl.

"Umm yeah. Do you?"

"Pff I wish I'm in love! I went to Magcon and saw you kiss him."

"Umm yup that happened..." I was done talking to her like yesterday. I rolled my eyes.

"Are you dating?" She whispered into my ear before Mrs. Satan/Johnson looked over.

"No! No we aren't." I rolled my eyes again I really was so done with the girl.

"His tweets must be all about you." She said and whispered in my ear once more. I rolled my eyes not really listening to her. She finally sat back into her seat and crossed her arms. My cheek was pushed against my left hand, and eyes getting heavy. The more I tried to listen to Mrs. Johnson the more tired I became.

My phone vibrated on my lap, it made me jump. And my phone flew off my lap. I look around to just about the whole class looking at me. I wave awkwardly and picked up my phone off the ground putting it back on my lap. I waited for everyone to turn back around.. To check it.

I looked down at my phone to see that Cameron had texted me. 'Hey?'

"Did Cameron just text you?" The girl behind me whispers in my ear. I turned around and shook my head.

"He just tweeted this." She held up her phone and showed me the tweet. 'I want her so bad'

"It's about you." The bell rung, but the girl never left my side. "What are you going to do?"

"I'm Delilah." I started acting like I cared about what she was saying but inside I really didn't.

"Lucci." She smiled at me. She started talking about Cameron again as we walked down the hall to my next class.

"Wanna come over to my house and I'll explain everything?" I interrupted her. I needed a friend right now. She looked shocked. I'm not a very open person but sometimes I need someone... Maybe it was Jesus giving me a sign.. Naw.

"Yeah I'll be there at four?" She said. I walked into my next class, which I had Kadence in with.

'Hi' I texted Taylor.

'Hey beautiful everything okay?'

'Have you seen Cameron's tweets'

'Don't worry about them we all know they are about you. So freaking annoying!' I was surprised there wasn't any swearing in that..

I didn't text him back because well class was starting and I was lazy. I sat and watched as Kadence as she talked to all of her cool friends.

"Hey Delilah." Braxton... Braxton Thomason. I have had a thing for him since sixth grade but never acted on it because he has always had a girlfriend, but know I can't think about him... Because you know Taylor.

"You to cool for me now that you are dating the viner?" He joked with me.

"What are you taking about?" I laughed along.

"We never talk anymore..?" Hunny we never talked before..

"Oh I'm sorry." I wish humans can just leave me alone through out the day.
