(A/N) So I'm pretty proud of this oneshot! I'm a sucker for fluffs and hurt/comfort, sooo here's the story! Hope you enjoy!

Dean tosses and turns before he finally drifts into a dreamless sleep. Well, maybe not quite dreamless. Recently, he has been dreaming about a certain angel who raised him from perdition. Dean dreams of the handprint left behind and the feeling of Castiel flying him out of hell. He dreams of Cas's feathery wings and wishing so desperately that he could touch them and wrap them around himself. Dean tries to imagine what Cas would look like without a vessel, and it nearly tears his brain apart. Castiel is so astounding, it's hard to grasp the fact that he is not human.

Tonight Dean dreams about those blue eyes that seem to stare into his very soul.

Castiel doesn't fall asleep like Dean. No matter how many times Cas tries the tricks Dean and Sam told him, he can never fall asleep. Maybe it is because his brain is thinking too hard. Cas thinks about the angels falling, becoming human, wishing he could be an angel again. Soon, the tears fall like they come from an infinite source of water. He runs a finger over the scar on his neck and remembers Metatron cutting his grace out. It is all my fault, again. Just because I can't follow orders. Cas slowly gets up from his bed, not knowing what to do for sure. He slowly moves his way through the bunker. Down the hall from his room is Dean's room, and surely Dean will know what to do. Sobs are still racking Castiel's body as he steps into Dean's room. His crying must wake Dean up because there is a sleepy voice calling out to him.

"Cas what are you doing in here?" Dean asks, rubbing his eyes. Then Dean gets a good look at Cas's face and hears the sobs that Cas tries to muffle. "Cas?"

Dean's eyes grow wider now as he stares blankly at Cas. Dean has never seen him cry, and barely seen him tear up. This is so new to him. Cas bites his lip with more tears flowing down his cheeks and through the stubble on his chin. "Cas, what's wrong? Are you hurt?" Dean moves closer and reaches a hand out to touch Cas's shoulder from his place on his bed. Cas can only shake his head and cry as Dean mournfully stares at him.

"It's all my f-fault, Dean!" Cas stutters grabbing Dean's arm that reached for his shoulder. "W-why does it hurt so m-much?" Dean's eyes tear up at the sight of Castiel so devastated and broken.

"Cas, it's not your fault, it's okay. You didn't know, man," Dean gives Cas's shoulder a squeeze gently. Cas breathes in sharply as if he has to gasp for air. Poor guy. Dean quickly stands and pulls Cas into a warm embrace; he lets the angel cry all of his tears on his shoulder. "Cas, we all lo- we all... we love you, Cas," Dean searches for the words, trying not to imply his true feelings for Cas just yet. "We don't think anything is your fault." Cas still cries like no words can stop him. Dean tightens his embrace around Cas, feeling his body shake when Cas's does.

"They fell because of me... and now I'm a human!" Cas obviously holds back his sobs, clawing at Dean's shirt.

"Hey, hey, being human isn't all that bad, Cas. Think about all the emotions you have now," Dean tries to reassure the broken angel. "And now you can't fly away that easy, so I can keep an eye on you." Dean chuckles, trying to get Cas to smile.

"I couldn't sleep, Dean. My brain was thinking too much. How can you deal with these emotions, Dean?" Cas asks, relaxing in Dean's arms.

"I've been human longer than you, and I've learned to contain my feelings, not show them around other people. You know?" Dean sighs and strokes Cas's dark hair to calm him down. Cas sniffs before speaking again.

"It's just so hard, and oh, Dean I have treated you so horrible in the past. I am so sorry!" the angel sobs again, pressing his face into the crook of his hunter's neck.
