In The End

Anna stood between The Doctor, and Angeli. She was not going to lose another person, not here, not now, not ever. Yet the question was how, how was she going to save The Doctor. Looking up, she saw the answer. I need to jump into the vortex, she thought, but it's too high up. Anna needed for the vortex to move. I can move it to the ledge, but you're going to need to find a way to get to the ledge safely. Nodding her head, and shuffled back towards The Doctor.

"We need to get to the ledge" Anna whispered to The Doctor.

"Ok, you lead the way"

Grabbing ahold of Anna's hand, both of them shuffled around. They were taking advantage of Angeli pacing around. Once they had reached the ledge, Anna let go of the Doctor's hand.

"You think you can beat me?! Ha! I'm a God, you can't kill me"

"No, I acknowledge the fact that I am powerless against you. But this man here, can not be killed. He is too valuable." Angeli sighed, and rolled her eye.

"That's exactly why I want him, think of all those universe that will cease to exist. Think of all those people who will never be. All that time energy we can feed on"

Angeli teleported over to a Weeping Angel, and wrapped her arms around it. The angel seemed to embrace Angeli, and for a split second the angel reminded Anna of her mother. Was Angeli alone? What was her past? Looking back, Anna saw the vortex. I can end it now, but there is no guarantee Angeli won't kill him once I'm gone. Moving away from the ledge, Anna took the Doctor with her circling to the other side.. Away from the vortex. She had to take Angeli with her, to the point of no return. Into the vortex. Once Angeli was positioned in front of the vortex, Anna began to set in motion her plan.

"Why, why do you need to do this?"

Angeli had an evil grin on her face.

"Because, it will be fun"

Anna stepped forward a bit more, causing Angeli to step back. She was on the ledge, just where Anna wanted her to be. Looking back, Anna smiled at the Doctor. A tear fell from her eye, rolling down her cheek. In his eyes she could see his sadness, and eventually they too filled up with tears. Anna mouthed one last word... Goodbye.

"Then we shall die together Angeli"

Sprinting towards her, Anna wrapped her arms around her. Gravity took ahold of the situation, and they both began to fall into the vortex. They were both being ripped apart atom by atom, and almost for a split second, Anna thought she saw Angeli smile. Closing her eyes, Anna could feel Angeli. She was so young, and so alone. Her only comfort were the angels. They cared for her as if she were their daughter. Years of pain and sadness were being eased off her shoulders, and she felt so relaxed and at peace. Then images of Anna's brother began to flash before her eyes. It was as if he could hear him calling her name.

"Anna, Anna!"

Opening her eyes, Anna saw her brother. He was in the vortex with her, smiling. He embraced her with a tight loving hug.

"Anna, we can be together forever now" Victor said laughing.

Reaching out, Anna touched his hair. She wanted to know if he was real. As her fingers ran through his soft silky hair, Anna knew, it had to be him.

"Yes Victor, yes we can be together forever"

It was all over, and The Doctor was alone yet again. He slowly made his way down through the building. The masses of monsters, had returned to being normal. It turns our they were the residents who were being controlled by Angeli. As he walked outside, he noticed that the rain had stopped, and the sun had returned. But he only noticed the rainbow, when he was back at is T.A.R.D.I.S... It was beautiful, like Anna. Swaggering off into his blue box, The Doctor did what he always did. He cried for a bit, releasing his emotions, and then set off to a different planet. He was going somewhere, a destination he should of gone to first: The planet of the Ood.
