Hey guys, mini authors note. Hope you guys are enjoying the book so far. I'm enjoying writing it at 1 am. Not gonna lie. I should be sleeping but since I can't might as well write because I love it. Anyway back to the book or even back to the future. Ayyy. Lol just kidding I don't know how to time travel. Except in books

"Hailey wake up there's a fire" my mom yells

"Wait what." I say as I jump out of bed mid panic

"Just kidding. Calm down. I know you don't wake up so I had to figure out a new way. Ice water isn't working anymore" my mom says

"I really dislike you at the moment mom" I say as I go to make my bed.

"I know. I would dislike me too if I did what I did. Anyway pancakes are on the table we have good news to some of us....... bad news for you" my mom said

"This can't be good. Thanks for softening it with pancakes." I said

"No problem, come on" My mom said walking out my bedroom door.

I finish making my bed and walk out to the dining room. If our apartment and see both my parents and my siblings at the table. My sister looks just as nervous as I do and my brother just looks like he wants pancakes. (Basically me)

As I go and sit down. We all get 2 pancakes, my brother got three. My dad decided he was going to speak first. I knew something bad was coming.

"As you know my job is very important and it's really good. But unfortunately...." My dad says as my sister interrupted

"You didn't loose it. Did you. I know how much you love your job" my sister says

"No sweetie I didn't. But it did require us to move to Texas" My dad said as he stood back for reactions

"Yes!!!" My brother yelled

"What!!! Cool. Do I get my own room?" My sister said

"I dislike you guys more than I did this morning after you freaked me out" I said as I got up and ran to my room. I hate moving. I have all my best friends here. Kristen, Angie, Ethan and my little group. I didnt know how I was going to tell them. And out of all places. Why Texas....

After I cooled down a little. I walked out to mom showing my sister and brother pictures of the new house. It was an actual house. Not an apartment. And apparently I get my own room. It has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. A yard for my dog Angel. She's a German Shepard. It also has a pool. So maybe I was a little excited. My mom allowed to me since I was the oldest to get first pick on the bedroom. But like I said it's going to be rough telling my friends. But I went back to eating the pancakes (not the Sims characters. As much as I hate them) and chatting with my mom and sister and brother and looking at pictures.

"Did I mention we leave in a month..." My mom says as my dad walks in with boxes and is on the phone with the moving van company.

"Uhhh it's happening too fast" I say as I eat my last pancake and go to me and my sister's room with a box to start packing.

When I go to my room I realize I haven't told my best friend or my school friends

So I decide to break the news to my best friend first
