The black sedan stopped in front of the massive skyscraper, each of the four doors opened and four men stepped out, each dressed immaculately in their black suits with their white ties. Each wore black sunglasses that hid their eyes from the world, they looked around as they stepped from the car and approached the building.

A team of security officers stood at the door with their hands behind backs, the single revolving door was blocked by the tan uniformed men. An officer stepped forward, “Sorry gentlemen but we can’t let you through, the whole facility is under quarantine. No one in or out.”

One of the suits approached the officer and put his mouth close to his ear, he whispered something and the officers eyes seemed to zone out. “These men are clear to go through.” The other officers looked to each other unsurely.

“Sir?” One of them said looking to his commanding officer and back at the men, “We were told not to let anyone in sir.”

The officer gave the officer a look and the man stepped to the side, “This way gentlemen.” The officer walked to the doors and the men followed, the group emerged on the other side and looked around the lobby.

“Where was the scene of the incident?” One of the suits asked as he caught sight of the multiple armed security officers.

“The incident happened in the lower levels of the basement but no one is allowed down there.”

The suit adjusted his tie, “We will have to see about that.” He said as he walked towards the elevators, “Also inform the rest of your security force that more of our companions will be arriving shortly.”

“Woah wait a second who are you guys?” The officer said as one of the men pressed the floor down button.

The men turned their backs on the man and crossed their hands in front of them.

“Hey I said who are you?”

One of the men turned around and pulled down their sunglasses, revealing a pair of white iris’s. The man pointed to himself, “Smith.” He pointed to one of his companions, “And hes Smith.” He pointed to another, “And he’s Smith and he’s Smith.” He lowered his hand and stared down the officer. “Get the picture?”

The guard took a half step backwards as he felt a chill run down his spine, there was something in the way the men talked that made him feel compelled to follow their orders. The officer looked to his feet, “I’m sorry. I will inform the unit of your companions arrival. Sir.” He said turning around and walking away from the men.

The four suits stood still and silent as the elevator doors slid open, there was no one inside and the men entered it. As the door closed two more black sedans pulled up to the curbs and more men stepped out, dressed in the same black suits.

One of the suits hit a button and the door closed shut. The elevator was deftly silent as it rolled down the shaft, there wasn’t even any elevator music to lighten the mood at all. When it finally stopped at the bottom level the men were greeted with a scene from a horror movie.

There were four shredded apart bodies in front of the elevator door, each one was mutilated past recognition with deep cuts put deep into their bodies and their faces. The suits knew from experience that the cuts went straight down to the bone, they could tell without even looking that each mutilated form would be cut in the exact same way.

The lights above the bodies flickered and there appeared to be a blackout further down the hallway.

Smith without glasses put his finger to his ear and spoke loudly and clearly, “Team one has arrived on the bottom floor. Confirmed shadow presence.”
