Prologue

Ruby: *heavy pant* We did it... We beat Salem!

The silver eyed teen fell on her back for a long deserved rest after the final battle with Salem. The corrupted surrounding her castle began to slowly change with the darkened skies finally beginning to show light.

Cinder: So its finally over...

The current fall maiden looked outside of the window to watch the change in scenery.

Ren: Yes it is. We're glad that you've decided to help us, even after everything we've been through.

Cinder: ... Just leave me be...

Ren simply nodded and left Cinder to her thoughts so he decided to check on the others.

Meanwhile, Yang sat next to her sister feeling proud of Ruby's accomplishment.

Yang: Way to go, sis! Never knew you had that awesome power!

Ruby: *light giggle* W-well I

The hero of Remnant was suddenly interrupted by the lights switching off and making the large hall pitch black. Then they quickly turned on to reveal that nothing around them has changed. In fact, the once corrupted land began to change into a volcanic scenery. It was rather odd considering that the sudden change felt unnatural.

???: Salem was a fool to believe that she can dominate this world.

Cinder's eye widened in fear after hearing the familiar voice speak up.

Cinder: N-no! It can't be!

Everybody was curious about her sudden change in personality until a man in ragged clothing and a torn brown cloaked walked into the large hallway. The sounds of chains can be heard as everybody can see the chains exposing themselves from his sleeves.

???: Now....

The man then slightly flicked his hand and Cinder suddenly grabbed her head in pain. After another brief moment, she fell to the floor unconscious with her maiden powers suddenly fading away.

Jaune: What happened to her?

???: Nothing for you to worry about....

Next thing everyone knew, Qrow suddenly appeared in front of the man with his weapon.

Qrow: (Y/N)!!!!

He then struck the man with his weapon in sword form but it was effortlessly blocked by the stranger's bare hand.

(Y/N): As predictable as always Qrow. Tell me...

You the lowered the hood from your cloak and looked at the man you once called your friend.

(Y/N): Have you even told her the truth?

You then pushed the hunter away which sent him flying back to the others.

Ruby: Uncle Qrow!

Qrow: I'm fine...

Yang: How do you know this guy?

Everybody fell silent as they wanted to hear Qrow's next words.

Qrow: Ruby... Tai isn't your real father...

Ruby: W-what do you mean?

Qrow then looked at you while you held your position with the same blank expression.
