Chapter 17 {Nico Snazzy Day}

As I shadow traveled to the Underworld, all I could hear were screams from the ones who were getting punished for their wrong things.

I finally just decided to shadow travel to my room instead. Once I enter, I laid my bag on the bed and walked out toward my father throne area.

"Hello Nico. What might bring you here?" I heard Hades question as I walked in.

"Just some things happened and I just needed to take a break from Camp again." I answered honestly.

"You're always welcome here. Just try to solve it." He said in a concern voice that most people would find creepy or weird cause he is Hades. I knew he meant it and was concern so I was happy he does care.

"So, what did that Jackson kid did to confuse you?" Hades question bluntly.

"...What makes you think it was Percy?" I hesitantly answered back. I started to look around the room to just not have any sort of eye contact with him. He can read me like an open book.

"No one else makes you confuse as much as he does. Plus, he is sorta not smart in many ways. Take that into consideration and you'll see where I got my answered. I'm not stupid, son." He just said all that bluntly...How much blunt can he get....

"I know. What was the point in asking me from the start then?"

"I care about you, despite what others think. I care about my children."

"I know."

"So, if you need anything I'll be around."

"Okay. Imma go to the stores to buy some stuff. I'll be back later."

"Okay bye son."

I soon started to head back to my room and changed into a Sleeping With Sirens shirt and basic black jeans. I shadow traveled to a ally and walked out as if it was normal.

As I passed the busy people who were speed walking, I notice so many people who looked happy and some looked busy. 

'I wished I could be happy like that again.'

'I miss Percy...'

Stop Nico. You gotta stop thinking like that while you're trying to forget about what happen....

I kept walking and walked to a grocery store. I picked out some candy, chips, and some fruit. I wanted to go to see Jason for a bit cause I did promise to visit them sometimes. I hurried and checked out and walked back into a ally way and shadow travel to see Jason.

"Hey Jay" I said as I saw him at his desk again.

"You can't leave us Nico!" He said in a scary calm voice. Rip me...

"Hey, at least I'm visiting you."

"True, but still."

"Here you go" I said giving him the bags.

"Why did you give me snacks?"

"To share with the others of course. I bought them for you guys."

"Oh okay."

"Goodbye again Jason."

"Why leaving so soon."

"I just wanna go as soon as possible."

"Bye Nico"

"Bye."
