Vivian's P.O.V.
The gray clouds opened up enough for the sunlight to peer through the bedroom window. With a groggy moan, I turned away from the intruding light. Seconds later, a pair of arms encircled my waist. I smiled sleepily, and patted the arms.
" Good morning." Quinn murmured quietly. I snorted.
" Since when do we say things other than 'Get out of my way' when we are in desperate need of the bathroom?" I quipped with a chuckle. Quinn mock gasped.
" I never say things like that to you! We love each other." Quinn argued weakly. I turned around in her arms, and looked into her eyes.
" Honey, you should hear yourself in the morning when you fight me tooth and nail to get up. It isn't pretty." I informed seriously.
Quinn scoffed and rolled her eyes. I raised an eyebrow at her denial, and smirked at the glare I received. Quinn merely crossed her arms over her chest like a child. I pursed my lips in thought. If she wanted to act like a child, fine. I'd treat her like a child.
" Quinnie bear, does someone need a time out?" I asked slowly as if I were speaking to child.
" I don't know. Do I get a spanking?" She whispered seductively. I smirked, and leaned forward until our lips were nearly touching.
" What did I say last night?" I whispered against her lips. Her eyes widened as she stammered.
" W-What?! I thought you were just tired! You didn't know what you were saying." Quinn tried to reason. I shook my head.
" Well, until I get a surprise, there will be no sex." I stated before throwing back the covers.
I laughed as I left behind a muttering Quinn. I threw on my robe, and walked into the living room. I was about to walk into the kitchen, but a piece of paper on the floor caught my eye. Confused, I picked up the paper. I turned over the paper, and began to read.
I only read about a few sentences, before the paper was violently ripped from my hands. Startled, I spun around to see my pale girlfriend. I was about to open my mouth to shout in surprise, but when I saw the paper in her hands shaking, I stopped abruptly. Quinn urgently stuffed the note into her back pocket. How did she get dressed so fast?
" Quinn? What's wrong? Why is James so worried about losing your friendship? Why aren't you answering me?" I shouted when she refused to answer.
What did I know? She might have been to shocked to say anything. Wait... Was that fear written on her face? What could she possibly be afraid of? I took a step closer. When she didn't step back, I placed a hand on her shoulder. She was shaking. Quinn flinched, and jumped.
" Quinnie? Are you okay? Oh my god, I think you're in shock!" The concern in my voice was enough to snap Quinn out of it.
" Huh?" She asked dazed. I held her face in my hands. The worry was no doubt shining in my eyes.
" I asked if you were alright. What is on that paper?" I asked with with a mixture of concern, curiosity, and suspicion.
" N-Nothing. I-I'm fine." She whispered shakily. I narrowed my eyes.
" Quinn, tell me what is written in that note." I ordered, but she backed away hesitantly.
" I can't. It'll ruin the surprise." She defended brokenly.
" Something tells me that there's more to it than that. What did he say that you obviously are too afraid to tell me?" Frustration was leaking into my tone.
" Nothing, I just didn't want you to figure out the surprise prematurely." Quinn explained. Lie.
" Is that all?" I asked with a tone that told her that I didn't believe her.
