People are always telling me to pace myself. But I don't need to. I learn quickly. I am the best in class at everything, and Dad says I will be the country's leader when I grow up. I don't want to be, but the thing is, he is the Director's 2nd, and because the Director has no kids, after my Dad, I will be the director.
He does not want his destiny.
There is a redheaded girl at school. She is a loner. She is thin, and she keeps herself to herself but she is ruthless. When I escape, I am going to bring her too. She is being brought up in Faernglows' orphanage, so she won't miss her current life and neither will I.
So he is making his own.
I have planned my route to the woods, and looked up lots of books about bushcraft, and how to survive. I am almost ready to go, but there is one major thing- I need to ask her to come with me.
Soon it will be time.
