'What?! You want to tell me that the battle is over?' I asked mother when I woke up and moved to sit up in my bed.

'Yes, it is already over. You have been sleeping for a day.' said mother calmly. She looked out the window of the room. 'You did well during the battle.'

I wanted to move my legs, but the right leg of mine was still wounded. It was so painful to move it.

'You should not move. It is dangerous in your current state.'

'What happened to me? I can remember that I was hit by a piece of the tree which was ripped apart. It was a wound I couldn't heal.'

When I looked down to my leg I noticed that it is wrapped in bandage. Suddenly memories came to my mind.

'I wanted to wrap it around with a leaf, but it had burned in my hand. How could you cater my wound like this?'

'It is hard to say, but this wound of yours will never be perfectly healed, because your blood reacts to organic elements in a very unusal way.' She sighed.

'What do you me by unusal?'

'I should have told you earlier, but I didn't know how. I see now that I must tell you directly.' She took a deep breath. 'You have a special blood type. Only some members of our family have it. Because of your blood, your body reacts strangely to organic objects. For you, it means that your cells which were hit by these elements, burn to protect the inner parts of your body.'

'This is why my leg wouldn't be healed completely?'

'Yes. But there are other things too. As your body reacts to organic things this way, it is different when it comes to metals. Your whole body is familiar with metals, so if you get hurt by a metal weapon you will be healed very quickly.'

'So my body can't stand organic elements, but it is compatible with metals? It is good to know this, but I can't move my leg now!'

'It will be fine soon. I cleaned your wound completely.' She was thinking about something for a while. 'This is my last gift to you.' She said and gave me a leather bracelet with nails on it's surface.

'What is this? What does it mean that this is your last gift?' I was totally confused.

'Because of these effects, your blood is toxic. If you hurt yourself with one of the nails on this bracelet the nail will be covered in poison and it will become a weapon in your hands.'

'So my true weapons are not kunai! It was hidden under my own skin all this time!'

'Yes, this is your secret weapon.'

'But if my blood is toxic and you cleaned my wound, you were poisoned as well?' My eyes grew wide.

'Yes darling. I will die soon.' Her words were cruel, but she smiled. 'Some villagers who tried to save you and were to take care about your leg have already died because of your poison.'

'Don't say such things to me mom! I never wanted to kill anyone in this village. Particularly you mother! I don't want you to die for me!'

'It is too late darling. I'm already dead inside and now poisoned too. You can't do anything against this.'
