Chapter 20 - Feelings

I told Pein that my training with Itachi is over. He sent him on a mission almost immediately.

I went to my room and laid down on my bed. Then Deidara arrived and I sat up.

'You trained with Itachi again, hmm?'

'Yes, but that was the last one.'

'Really? I thought that you have much time left from the month, hmm.'

'You are right, but we finished it today.'

'So...you will return as my partner again, hmm?'

'Of course! Isn't this obvious?'

'Yeah, it is, but the thruth is that...I missed you. The missions were...different without you.' He looked at me. I could see, that he blushed a bit.

'Thanks Dei. This is very...coaxing.' I said, filled with embarrassment. I could feel that my face turned red.

He sat on the corner of my bed.

'Are you sick or injured? You look pretty red, hmm.' He said placing his hand on my forehead. From his touch I felt butterflies in my stomach.

'No, I'm not sick.' I said turning away.

'What's wrong Fujiko, hmm?' He turned my head softly to face him. I could feel that I was as red as a tomato. We were very close to each other.

I moved towards him when I suddenly felt his lips touching mine. He kissed me passionately and I kissed him back. I could feel that he is suprised because of my reaction, but in a good way. He strained me closer and closer. I almost forgot to breath. It felt like and hour, but it was only one minute. All of us were breathing heavily when our kiss ended. I looked into his eyes.

'Dei-kun...' I whispered, tears running down my cheeks. 'I love you.'

'So as I. I love you for a long time, hmm.' He hugged me again. I was crying from happiness.

'How long? Please tell me!'

'You know, on that night when we got back from your first mission I carried you in. I told Zetsu to leave and laid you on this bed, hmm. You was half-awake then and you spoke to me. That was the first time when you called me Dei-kun and said me a good night. I knew that you are like an explosion. Destructive and beautiful at the same time, hmm.'

'I really said it? I can't remember any of this.' I whispered into his ear.

'It doesn't matter now.' He said, fondling my hair sweetly. I moved to face him.

'I love you Dei-kun.'

'I love you too, my little blast.' He said and kissed me again.
