Chapter 5 - Abilities and Fate

It was a crazy situation. After my mother told me that she will die because of me she started asking more weird questions.

'When you fought that guy with the chakra blades you had a strange moment, didn't you?'

'Yes, it was like time had stopped for a while. But how do you know about that?'

'When you used this ability I was already on a nearby street. I experienced the shockwave what was caused by your jutsu.'

'My jutsu? But I didn't do a thing! You say, that who stopped the time was me? Impossible!'

'You better belive it. Your hidden kekkei genkai is awaken, but it is difficult to deal with an eye techniqe like this, because it has a time limit.'

'So that was a kekkei genkai. I thing I know what are those hardships you are talking about. I had a terrible head-ache during the jutsu so I closed my eyes and when I opened them, time was flowing again.'

Mom nodded.

'When you are using this ability your whole eye turns purple, time stops and you can see in a much bigger radius than before. This is the power is the Teishigan.'

'Teishigan? But how can I use it?'

'Just by focusing it will appear when you need to use it. But remember if you use the Teishigan for a long time it will make your head hurt!'

'I see.' I wanted to ask mother more about this ability, but suddenly she started coughing heavily. 'Mom! Mom! What happened? What's wrong?'

'Take me to my bed!' She said on a powerless voice.

I did what she asked me for. Knowing that this will be the end for her made me feel terrible. Why did she sacrifice herself for me? I wanted to ask her but I couldn't. She was lying on the bed, holding my hand.

'Be a proud and powerfull ninja for me.' I couldn't hold back my tears anymore.

'I will. For you and for dad too.' I said, but she couldn't hear it. She had already passed away.
