Chapter 4: Meet My Idiot Friend

While Angelica stood there, screaming and slowly sliding into fetal position, I thought back to the moments leading up to this. When Harry had left his hand on my chin a little longer than usual. It was amazing if I may say myself.

Shoot, I'd better get back to the situation at hand because Harry was looking a little more than frightened.

"Is it really yoooou?!" she cried, gobsmacked.

"Uh, I suppose, yeah," he replied, his brow raised slightly.

Angelica threw her hands around her head, wildly.

"Laila! Laila! Laila!" she yelped repeatedly. "Get this lovely lad something to eat, don't just stand there, don't be so rude," she sputtered.

"Well, we were enjoying some smoothies until..."

"Until you spilt it everywhere, right?!" Angelica replied, taking a napkin from my hand and rubbing at the table furiously.

I took a peak at Harry who was a few feet away with smoothie spilt down the front of his shirt. He saw me watching him and mouthed the words Who is this?!  his forehead creasing.

"My idiot friend, she's just visiting," I replied, desperate.

"Yes, yes, I'm Angelica!" she smiled at Harry, grabbing his hand and shaking it furiously before he could even offer it to her.

"Harry, erm, Styles,"  he raised the corner of his mouth in an attempt to smile friendly.

"Well, I knew thaaat!" she rolled her eyes, grinning.

"Er, right," he nodded.

I just realized that Dorina was still hidden somewhere. Angelica leaned against the fridge for support, while fanning herself. And of course, even in a state of absolute "fan-girling" she looked as amazing as ever. Perfectly blonde hair, bright and shiny, curled at the tips, the apples of her cheeks blushed. Was there any imperfection besides complete annoyingness?!

"Please. Angelica, could you settle down for just a moment?" I begged.

"Settle down? Settle down? Oh, trust me, I am. I am down. And settled," she winked at Harry. God, was she awkwardly flirtatious too.

Harry looked... disappointed. Disappointed that this beautiful girl was actually annoying as heck? Disappointed that he had smoothie all over his Ramones shirt? I wasn't sure, but I wanted to find out so badly.

"Maybe I should... get going. I have to, um, pick up my cat," Harry mentioned.

"You have a cat?" I asked, I had never realized that they had one, especially since their on tour all the time.

"Oh, shut up Laila. He's obviously joking. He's a dog person DUHH! Don't you read?" Angelica said matter-of-factly, pointing to a trash magazine with a picture of Harry, on the cover, walking a dog. The headline was "I've Always Been A Dog Person".

"No, Angelica. That's your name right? I'm not a dog person. Next time, don't get your facts from a tabloid magazine," Harry stated sternly with a quick nod of the head, before taking one napkin, wiping a spot on his shirt and turning his heel to the door.

WELL.

Angelica looked shocked at first, a bit panicky as she stuttered "Wh-what?".

"I'll see you later, Laila," he added. "Maybe,"

Now it was my turn to be shocked. And yes, maybe a bit panicky.

"Harry," I said quietly, walking towards him near the door, Angelica was trailing close behind me.

"Angelica, enough with your shit, give me a second," I told her, frustrated.

That showed her. I had never stood up to her like that before. And damn, it felt good. She stepped back and sat down slowly on the couch. I opened the door and stepped outside with Harry by my side.

"I wasn't expecting that," I started.

"You weren't expecting that? I wasn't expecting that either... because I didn't know you had a crazy Mr. Harry Styles, the dog lover, obsessed friend!" he nearly shouted.

I never realized how difficult it must be. Being so famous and having everybody think that they know you. Seeing your face everywhere, lies plastered all over it.

"I'm sorry," I was always the one apologizing. And oh lord, this was only day two.

"It's... it's fine," he waved his hand, non-chalantly.

"But it's not," I replied, looking up at him.

"It is though," he smiled down at me.

Harry leaned in towards me, I stood up on my tip-toes. This was the moment, I hardly knew him and I could just tell that he was going to kiss me. I took a deep breathe, closed my eyes and...instead, he grabbed the neck collar of his Ramones Shirt, which had smoothie all over it still, and wiped it on the tip of my nose.

Great. Harry was still cheeky as ever. And I still loved it.
