Harry Potter

I woke up to the sound of footsteps rambling around the room. I opened my eyes to see Seamus cussing swear words. Neville, Ron, and Dean just watched in amusement. Well, this is a good way to wake up in the morning. Well, they are my closest friends. Ron, Neville, Dean, Seamus, Hermione, Luna, Ginny, and I. Friends. What a weird bunch. Anyways, speaking of morning what were they talking about?

"Blimey Harry! Seamus just eat a spicy candy." Ron laughed, pointing at Seamus who keep on muttering curse words. "Lesson learned! Check the fold first before you eat it."

"He's always the troubled one in the group." Dean said, shaking his head slowly. "You should've check it first before swallowing."

"This is the reason why you guys woke me up." I said, rubbing my face rapidly.

"Sorry if we woke you up" Neville apologized, his voice sincere. "It feels like this is the day we should wake up early."

"Wow! Neville's being dramatic." Seamus snorted, sitting down on his bed. "I wonder why you still didn't ask Lovegood to go out with you in Hogsmeade."

"I don't like her that way. Besides, she's just a good friend." Neville said, looking up to the ceiling. "I haven't like someone here in Hogwarts yet. And it's clear to me that no one will ever like me."

All of us started to looked at him as if he was lying. "Fine. I used to like Fleur when she first came to Hogwarts for the tournament.... And, yeah. I like Luna a little."

"Ooooooh dang! So you admit that you like Lovegood, eh? Lucky you, someone will take care of you. I don't even have a girl." Seamus interrupted. "I didn't know you also like Fleur."

"I like Fleur for a short period of time." Neville said, honestly. "Luna, on the other hand, she helps me gain more confidence and be brave to the death eaters. I like the new her now more than before. She's strong, defensive and will not back down in a fight."

"Do you still like her?" Ron asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah, a little." Neville smiled, looking at the window. "If she doesn't like me, it's fine for me. At least she's happy."

"That's my boy! You're still the Neville that we know." Dean beamed, clapping his hands. "Why don't we go and prepare now? Don't wanna be late for classes."

•••Heading down the common room•••

When we finished fixing ourselves, we headed downstairs where the girls are waiting for us. Luna and Cho are talking along with Ginny and Hermione. I'm glad they're all friends and none of them are fighting. This will be a good start for all of us. We might have bad memories before, but now we'll make new ones. I still miss my mom and dad. Seeing them only in my dreams is not enough and I wish that they see me grow as person that I wanted to be.

"Finally. We've been waiting forever." Hermione said, rolling her eyes. "Need to remind that this is our last year in Hogwarts and we should make memories before it ends?"

"Wow! Am I hearing this from you, Hermione?" Ron laughed, as he hugged her tightly. "You've never been the type that likes to make memories."

When I got down, Cho was the first one to greet me. "Hi Harry! Good morning."

"Good morning, Cho." I smiled as she hugged me and quickly pull away. I saw Ginny glancing at us and quickly look away.  Is there something wrong?

Neville and Luna are having a conversation with smiling faces. Both of them changed like a lot. They aren't afraid to face a fight anymore. They're braver than ever. Luna is not weird anymore. No offence, but the new her is kinda fierce now. They'll look like a good couple if they get together. As Cho and I were walking, I can sense Ginny staring holes at the back of my head. I glanced at her and she quickly looked away. What was that about? I opened the doors to the Great Hall.

Twelve teenagers in civilian clothes looked at us, as we looked back at them. They look confused and I can sense that we look the same. From the corner of my eye, I saw Neville looking at a blonde from their group.

Neville Longbottom

As we were walking down the stairs, my gaze fell upon Luna. Her silvery eyes are staring up at me with a glint of happiness. I'm glad that we have a good relationship as close friends. She often talks to me about other people bullying me before and my everyday life. I gotta admit, she looks pretty when she's fixing herself whenever there are events. Behind her face is a feared girl with a bad past but I'll always be here for her. And even so, I know she's stronger now. I still have small feelings for her but if she likes someone else, then it's best for me to let go than holding on to something that will never happen.

"Hi, Neville! Did you have a good sleep?" She asked, smiling. Her voice isn't dreamy anymore nor soft like a cotton. It was filled with confidence and projection. Her long blonde hair isn't curly anymore. It was wavy and has black tips at the end of her hair. She lost a lot of weight unlike me.

"I did." I replied, smiling back at her. "You changed a lot."

"Well, I wanted to make a new impression. Don't wanna mess it with me being weird." She said, putting a hair behind her ear. She never does that. Whatever. It's probably just nothing. "I don't wanna be weak. I'm not a crybaby anymore."

Seeing that Cho and Harry are walking together in front of us, Harry slightly glance at us with a smile. What's he thinking now? I thought he hates her. It was two years when the Order of the Phoenix happened. When we arrived at the huge door of the Great Hall, Harry opened it without hesitation. The first one that I saw is Headmaster Mcgonagall talking to twelve students wearing muggle clothes. I spotted a beautiful blonde girl with pale skin and silver grey eyes. I noticed that her eyes glow greenish. Is it me or does anyone noticed it? I glance secretly at my friends as they were staring at the blonde girl. They look like bewitched or something. Harry raised an eyebrow at me. I suppose he also noticed it. I back away from them and started to rub both of my temple which cause me to close my eyes. My mind drift off to the images of me and the blonde girl holding hands while walking together during winter. The second image shows that me and the girl kissing in the pouring rain while there are two guys staring at us with hatred in their eyes. The third image shows me proposing to the girl in front of my friends and hers. From the corner of my eyes, I can see Luna crying.

I felt someone tapped my shoulder. I opened my eyes to see Harry with a worried look. "Are you okay, Neville?"

"Yeah, it's nothing. It's just that... My head kinda hurts." I whispered, shrugging it off.
