I walked out side into the bright and flawless light from the dry cleaning store and noticed that the old resturaunts tvs where on. I decide to walk in and watch the smallish television set inside in order for the family runned buisness to make extra money.

The waitress by the name of Bess walked to my small table a said, "Hiya dear may I take your order," I said after looking at the woman standing in front of me that had slightly too much pink makeup on her cheeks and lips and said,"Just some sweet tea m'am." she asked for my name and then I said, "Patrick Talle." and she walked off towards the half door and behind the counter.

After about ten minutes she brought my tea and I watched the television in the front side of this small southern resturaunt.

The first thing I saw was 'BREAKING NEWS' and a large photo of a young child and 'Missing' underneath her name. She had the name of Lily Fae. She had blonde hair and the last thing her fith grade teacher saw her in was a loose white polyester dress. A lady about the age of twenty nine showed up on the screen and was interveiwed by the news reporter on the case:

The news reporter had redish hair with a touch o flight brown and she glanced over to the side and then said to the young lady next to her, 'I have some questions for you Mrs.Tae."

Mrs.Tae I prosume was the lady's name looked up and you could tell she has been crying for a while and said; "Yes m'am." The news reporter tapped her on the left shoulder and said, "Did Lily, ever tell you guys something of running away or of a stranger she might have met?" her mother tilted her head as if thinking for an answer and said in a shaky voice, "No but, she had some imaginary friends for a while in third and towards the fourth grade. She stopped talking about them in fith grade though. Could that be the problem?" The news reporter walked away for a second to go get someone I supose, and the mother is looking for where she went. I was bewildered when the new reporter walked up with the producer of the news channel and said, "We will be back soon."

I was confused, I don't know how I got so caught up in this, like a baseball caught in a glove after two seconds of being thrown into the situation. I felt like something terrible was going to happen to little Lily Tae, the little girl I have never met in my life or heard of until now...

I walked out after paying my bill for the tea and walked straight home. I didn't want stop and talk to any of my neighbors at the moment for I had a long day at my work and was too tired to talk to anyone, even over the phone.

When I got home I sat down in my old reclined chair and started reading a small poem book with pictures and I read the one my mother always read to me when I was little. It said:

Close your eyes little one,

Close your eyes and dream

You can be anyone,

Anyone you dream

You can go anywhere,

do anything,

meet anyone

Just close your eyes and dream your dreams

Let your imagination take control

Take you on adventures never told

Just close your eyes my little one

Close your eyes and dream with me

You can fly above the mountains

You can swim beneath the sea

Its a great big world before us

Come along and dream with me

You can swing from every tree top

You can conquer every fear

There’s no need to be frightened

You’re not alone here in your dreams

Just open up your mind and let your dreams flow through

ts a great big world around us

Come on along and dream with me

Sweet dreams my little one

My mom read it to me every night to mske me go to sleep. I look over to the picture on my side table in my livngroom and stare at the small frame holding a picture of  a young boy and his mother. It was me and my mother before she died in the car accident and I was put in the local orphanage. Sadly, no one adopted me and Iwas released at the age of eighteen, into the world with nothing, nothing at all...

Now suddenly I've relized I was crying because of the horrid memory of my childhood.  I try to erase my mind at the thought and walked up to the large window in my dining room and looked outside .

I looked towards the side into the large woods to right of my house and saw something. I walked more towards the window wondering if it might have been just a fox or bunny. But then, it moved again and all I saw was eyes, light blue like the ocean probally the most beautiful, but this was no animal, it was human...
