Request for: @NdragonEyes ! I found it quite hard to write something for him, but here you! I hope you like it!

"That's it! I'm sick of your whining! Ah, (y/n), please help me out!!" Usopp whined himself, calling out to you in a dramatically desperate way. You looked up from your book to him. "I can't stand it anymore! He keeps blabbering about what Joker is gonna do with us! Please take my shift! I beg of youuu!"

You let out a long sigh. No one wanted to keep an eye on him. Caesar. That dangerous scientist from Punk Hazard. You had been on an undercover mission for your captain for a few months when the Strawhats arrived. They had other plans with Caesar, but you managed to convince them to take you to Dressrosa, your 'hometown'. A lie, naturally, but they didn't need to know that. Your main objective was the same: take down Doflamingo. Anyways, thanks to your naturally friendly nature, you quickly became friends with the Strawhats. Law didn't trust you, so he avoided you. You placed your book down.

"Fine. I'll take care of him." You said, making your way to the chained scientist. Usopp thanked you a million times before storming off. You sat down in front of the prisoner smoothly, staring him in the eyes. "Oh look who we have here, Miss I-was-a-test-subject-and-now-I'm-free!" Caesar scoffed at you. "Mmmh, I thought my name was (y/n) though..." you smirked at him. The clown grew slightly redder in anger. "You know what I mean! I don't know what you did in Punk Hazard on that boat, but when Monet brought you in, I had the perfect test subject! And look who's in chains now! You must be feeling overjoyed, seeing your captor in chains while you go home..." He sneered, not looking at you. You rolled your eyes. "Actually, no. No one deserves to be chained without a chance to defend themselves." You explained.

"I have defended myself! Those tests on those brats were for the sake of SMILE!" He argued, his chains making noise as he moved forwards. You frowned at him.

"Hey... don't you feel anything?" You asked. Caesar looked confused at you, raising one eyebrow. "Having no mercy for kids... underlings... all those sacrifices for a weapon of mass destruction... is it worth it? Sacrificing your sympathy?" You clarified, not giving him a glance.

"Aaah?! Of course, I told you! I-" Caesar tried to tell you, but you kept talking.

"You're still human, I've seen that. Begging for your life... you have the disgraces of a human being, but the things that makes a human also a pleasant being... you lost all that. How can you expect us to show you those graces if you don't have yourself?" You kept clarifying. Caesar decided to keep his mouth shut.

"You want to show the world what you're capable of, right? Then do what's right. Showing your evil is not going to give you the effect you want. Show good instead."

You stood up, seeing Sanji making his way over to you. It was his shift. You turn to Caesar.

"Show them your human." You ended your speech and left, avoiding Sanji's avances like a boss.

Caesar watched you go, feeling very confused. So confused, he didn't even react to Sanji's insults.

Afternoon: it was your shift this time. That scientist had half a day to think about your words. You find him and Zoro, the latter pretty damn puzzled. When he saw you, the swordsman walked over to you. "Hey, watch out: he's extremely quiet. He hasn't said a word to me, shitty chef or Franky..." He warned you. "Want me to stay?"

You shook your head. "No thanks, Zoro. I can handle him. See ya later." You said, waving him a goodbye. He shrugged and left. You took a seat in front of the clown, who immediately started talking to you.

"Why did you tell me that this morning?" He asked. You flipped out your index finger and poked Caesar's chest on the spot where his heart is supposed to be. "Because I believe there's good in everyone. And it's never too late to discover that." You answered honestly, giving him a smile. That surprised Caesar. He looked down, back at you, and down again. "Every shitty person deserves a second chance. You've never gotten yours." You grinned. The scientist mumbled something under his breath. "Do you think I deserve that?"

You smiled once again. "Everyone does."

Caesar thought about that for a moment. "You're the first one to, actually, ever care for me you know. Joker is always ready to kill me and I don't have any friends." He admitted honestly. You chuckled. "Another reason to give you a second chance at being human."

Caesar gave you a weird smile. He tried very hard to make it look normal instead of insane, but it made you laugh. "Leave the smiling for later. It's too early for that!" You laughed.

The clown sighed.

"I guess... I'm still too disgraceful for that..." He agreed.
