Well, here you were. Once again back in your father's brewery. You've always wanted to become a pirate, or even a marine at some point, but when you got into that accident... those dreams vanished. You looked down at the stumps that were once your energetic legs. They kinda looked at baguettes. You mentally sighed. A cripple can't become one of those people. They can only try to not to be a burden to others. And so your father had the greatest idea ever: become a sake brewer like him.
First of all, you disliked alcohol.
Second of all, she was everyday 9 hours locked up in between the 4 walls of the brewery.
Not exactly a great idea to you.
You pulled the wheels of your wheelchair to move forward, checking the freshly brewed sake that was kept in bottles. These were done and your father would come and collect them pretty soon. So in the meantime you rolled around, doing some wheelies while occasionally doing your job.
Footsteps came closer.
"Aaah, (y/n), good morning! Are the bottles ready- Ah! There they are! Good job, darling!" Father grinned at you, the bottles and then back at you. "I know." You replied simply. The old man took 4 of the bottles and started carrying them to the shop. You took a bottle of two in your lap and followed him, needing his help to get over the doorstep to the shop. The brewery was directly connected to it. You and your father placed the bottles on the shelves - well, you gave your bottles to Father to place them on them - before he went back to collect the rest. You rolled around the shop. You've only came to the shop a few times before, back when you had legs instead of baguettes. When you came, you helped Father out selling the most expensive sake you had. But ever since you became best friends with Mr. Wheelchair, you stayed in the brewery. Father was afraid the villagers would pity you, something you disliked completely. Thinking of him, he just came back with the last bottles. "There we go! Our classic brand on display!" He smiled looking at them. You smiled too, because that was your hard work.
Suddenly, the door opened. Both you and you father looked up at the man that entered. "Welcome Sir! What can I- erm, we do for you?" He greeted him, taking a spot behind the counter. You wanted to do the same thing, but after realizing the counter was higher than you, you stayed where you were. The customer, who had remarkable green hair, took a small glance at you before pointing at the restocked sake from earlier. "3 bottles of those, please." He asked without a single hesitation. Your father smiled and walked over to the more expensive sakes. "I see you are a professional. May I suggest our eye-catcher? This certain sake has-" He started talking but got interrupted by the man. "I want that one. That kind is too damn expensive." He said. "Oh, and make the order 15 bottles. Never enough sake on board anyways...". Your father gave up and handed him the 8 bottles on the shelves. "Please excuse me for a moment, Sir. We have some more in stock, but they still need to be bottled." He excused himself before going back to the brewery, completely forgetting you were even there. You sneakily looked at the man. Not only did he have green hair, he also had 3 golden earrings and 3 swords... based on his outfit, he didn't look like a marine. So that must mean he's a pirate. You were used to pirates. This shop is well known all over the world for having the best sake, so everyone visited the shop. Including pirates. "So, are you pirate?" You tried to ask casually, faking a sudden inspection of the bottles the closest to you. "Yeah." The man replied, looking around. "And who are you then? Which pirate crew are you from?" You asked again. The man clicked his tongue. "You're a curious one, aren't you? I'm Roronoa Zoro for the Strawhat Pirates." He replied annoyed. You turned around with a smile on your face. "Oooh, I've heard of you guys! You guys are superstrong! Especially you! You use, erm, the 3-sword style technique!" You said happily, pointing at his swords. Zoro smirked. "Heh, so even this part of the New World has heard of us... good to know."
