"By the time I was your age, I'd give anything,

To fall in love truly, was all I could think,

That's when I met your mother, the girl of my dreams,

The most beautiful woman, that I'd ever seen"

*Sam's POV*

I sat there, talking to my son who was around 16 now.

We were started talking about love and that's when I brought up his mother, {Y/N}. She had passed and we never talked much about her until now.

**Flashback**

*3rd Person*

Sam sat there looking around until he set eyes on a beautiful girl. She had sparkling {E/C} eyes, shiny flowing {H/C} hair and the cutest {N/S} nose. I couldn't help but look at her, take in all her adorable features.

Sam was looking so long that the girl, {Y/N} finally got up and walked over to him. She looked at him and noticed his shoulder-length brown hair, mesmerizing eyes, and his plaid flannel. She broke off her stare and decided to speak up.

"Boy, can I tell you a wonderful thing?" {Y/N} started to say, wondering if she should continue.

"I can't help but notice, you're staring at me." She continued wondering if she should stop, thinking that she may be too forward with him.

"I know I shouldn't say this, but I really believe, I can tell by your eyes that you're in love with me." The {H/C} haired girl spit out.

Sam smiled and hugged the girl, {Y/N} was taken back but she embraced back.

**Flashback Over**

"Now, son, I'm only telling you this because life can do terrible things," Sam said to his child, {S/N}.

They sat there silently before Sam continued.

**Flashback**

"Now, most of the time we'd have too much to drink,

And we'd laugh at the stars and we'd share everything,

Too young to notice, and too dumb to care,

Love was a story that couldn't compare"

{Y/N} and Sam sat on top of a hill, with a cooler full of drinks such as wine and beer. They'd drink most of what was in the cooler, then just sit back and stare at the stars, side by side. Sharing stories, playing silly games the two had so much fun. They were young, dumb and in love. The two wouldn't have it any other way.

Sam sat up on the hill and pulled out a present. {Y/N}'s eyes lit up at the sight of the box, wondering what was inside.

"Girl, can I tell you a wonderful thing? I made you a present with paper and string." Sam said to the bright {E/C} eyed girl sitting next to him.

He then continued after a small pause, contemplating if he should go through with it, which he did, "Open with care now, I'm asking you, please. You know that I love you, will you marry me?"

{Y/N} started to tear up, she couldn't believe it. She couldn't believe the love of her life asked her to marry him.

"Yes! Of course, I will," said {Y/N}, as tears of joy, rolled down her cheeks.

Sam wiped away her tears and they both smiled and embraced each other.

**Flashback Over**

"Now, son, I'm only telling you this because life can do terrible things," Sam repeated again.

He then continued saying, "You'll learn, one day, I'll hope and I'll pray, that God shows you differently."

Sam was about to break down remembering the next major thing that happened next, but he held it together.

{A/N}: This took a while to do. I will make a part two.

I didn't know whether to include Sam or Dean as the readers love interest, but in the end, I chose Sam.
