Dean's POV
"Are you sure we're in the right place, Dean?" Sam questioned from beside me I look over at him.
"Of course we are, remember when we followed the vamp here? She didn't come back out so, this is the nest. Also vamps have been coming in and out for the past few days. I'm positive Sammy." I retort. I look around at the abandoned barn the sun was setting and it smells like rotting meat most likely because of the vampires and all the dead cattle. The low humming of the Impala is the only thing I hear and it puts me at ease I really do love this car it keeps me sane. "Are you ready to go?" I look in my review mirror to see Castiel nodding at my question a small smile creeping on my lips. It was my idea to invite Cas on the case he always expressed interest in becoming a hunter, and this case was pretty straight forward so I thought it was a good idea to invite him along. Sam on the other hand didn't think it was a very good idea.

"Dean I don't think this is a good idea." Sam said in a harsh whisper, putting his lore book down on dark wooden table of the bunker, sliding his chair out he approaches me with his signature bitch-face.
I give him the death stare,"Why not? He could help on this case, Sam. At least give him a chance. This case isn't difficult, by the looks of it it's just some vamps it only looks like nest of around six. It's not far only a few towns over. We could use the extra help." Sam clenches his jaw and lets out a long sigh. He rubs his hands over his face and looks at me.
"Fine, but if this goes south I'm blaming you." He goes back to his reading, I grin and go off to tell Cas the good news.
Present Day
"Okay lets go kill some son of bitches." I say with a grin, I take the square key out of my baby's ignition. I open my door, it lets out a low screech. I reach in the grab my machete before closing the door behind me. I look up to see Cas looking at me his eyes full of curiosity.
" You ready, buddy?" I ask him with a wide smile. He gives me small smile and nods. "Okay here's the plan, Sam," he looks up a me motioning for me to continue. " You'll go in the front a draw the attention of the nest. They should be waking up by now. Then me and Cas will go around the back and catch them off guard stay close and don't get killed. Got it?" They both nod in unison. "Okay, let's go." Cas and I head off the the right and Sam goes straight right towards the front door. The dirt road hid our footsteps from being heard as we traveled around the barn. The only thing that could be heard was the sounds of crickets it was almost calming but only almost something here set me on edge and I don't know what it is. After about two minutes Cas breaks the silence.
"Dean, are we going to talk about what happened yesterday? Or are you just going to ignore it like all the other things you don't want to acknowledge?" Cas said in low whisper. Damn it I really don't want to talk about it. It was a mistake just a spur of the moment mistake. Right? Does he regret it?
"No I really don't want to talk about right now, and it isn't really the time either, we're in the middle case." I whisper back my voice wavering slightly, I hope he doesn't notice. He seems unfazed by my response and doesn't notice the uncertainty in my voice.
"Did you tell Sam about it?" He questions as he tilts his head to the right ever so slightly.
"No, he isn't to know what happened. Got it?" I warn with venom in my voice. He stays silent which is the answer I'm looking for.
We continue walking towards the nest making sure we don't make a sound. We reach the back of the barn a few minutes later. I look over at Cas, his blue eyes reflect the setting sun making look even bluer which shouldn't be possible. I put my hand on the rotting door of the barn not breaking eye contact with the angel in front of me. I give him a questioning look and he give a small nod and I push open the door it gives out a loud creek. I freeze and look back at Cas, he motions for me to keep going. Luckily no one has woken up due to the door. I take a minute to look around the barn pretty open, a few hammocks littered the barn with sleeping bodies inside. I guess monsters need at least four hours too. I look across the room to the front entrance and see Sam slide in and give me the thumbs up. I feel Castiel slide in behind me his chest brushing up against my back. I jump back due to the unexpected contact, I trip on what I assume to Castiel's foot. I'm about to hit the ground when Cas grabs my hand and halls me to my feet. I let go of his hand, I mouth thank you I straighten out my jacket and that's when all hell breaks loose. I look over at Sam and see a vamp creeping up behind him.
