Sam's POV

The drive back to the bunker was tense to say the least. Dean was caught up in his own thoughts his eye swam with vengeance and worry. The car ride didn't last long since the case was only a few towns over.  We pull up to the bunker and Dean gets out without saying a word. I need to talk to him. I get out of the car and slam the door shut and jog up to Dean to catch up. He's still clutching Castiel's trench coat, he's holding it so tight his knuckles are turning white. "Dean, do you want to talk about it?" I ask tentatively, but it's really no use he doesn't express emotion he suppresses it.

"No." He states bluntly. Opening the door the the bunker he slips inside I'm close to follow, we distend the stairs. The clunking of our boot echoing off the concrete walls. I stop on the stairs.

"Dean, we need to talk about this. We need a plan, we can't just ignore it. Let's find him." I pronounce. He turns to look and me. His eyes are red and puffy, he's been crying. Why has this taken such a toll him. Cas disappears all the time it's not like this is anything new.

"What are we supposed to do, Sam? We have no clue where he went, we don't know who took him, or why. We have nothing, Sam. NOTHING!" His voice rising with each word until he's screaming. I put my hands up in surrender. Yeah I'm worried about Cas but this is a little extreme he's always okay, but he wouldn't just up and leave like that. I run my face trying to calm my whirling thoughts. Where could he be. Wait just before the white blue light hit there was a sound. Wings. He could've gotten away! Or he was taken by an angel.

Dean's POV

I take a deep breath and try to calm down, I reach the bottom of the stairs and head to the kitchen. I need a drink or maybe twenty. I open the fridge cool air hits me as I bend down to grab a beer. I pop it open and take a long sip letting the cool liquid run down my throat. As a finish my sip Sam comes walking in. He obviously wants to talk about something.

"Come on Sammy, I said I don't want to talk." I mumble as I take another sip of my beer. His eyes fill with worry, I don't want your pity, Sam.

" I know but I just realized something that might help us find Cas." He breaths out. With my interest peeked I nod at him to continue. "Well you know how before we saw that light we heard wings. Well I was thinking that it might mean he got away, or an angel took him." He mumbles the last part but I hear it anyway. God damnit why didn't I realize sooner.

"Okay so how do you suggest we find him? There is no way that I know of where we can track and angel. Let alone two if he was taken." I say trying to go through all the useless monster lore in my mess of a head. I've got nothing, nothing that could help anyway.

"I don't know, but we have an entire library of lore out there we should probably take a look." He replies. If it means finding Cas I'll go through every damn book in this place.

"What are we waiting for? Let's get started." I state feeling a little bit of hope. Sam and I set off to look through every book in the bunker.

6 hours later (4:26 am)

I slam my book shut and let out a long sigh. "We've looked through practically every book, and found jack with a side of squat." I say yawning mid sentence. Sam looks at me and nods.

"I'm going to go to bed we can try more in the morning okay?" He gets up from his chair and pats me on the back.

"Yeah okay I'm just going to stay up a little longer and keep looking." I say as I open my book back up and start flipping through it again. Just in case I missed something important.

"Dean you've gone through that book three times I think you need to take a break and sleep." Sam says with a hand on his hip. I turn my book over and look at the cover. Shit I really have read this three times. I sigh and slide the book off the my right and reach into the pile of books I've picked out and grab a new one. The one I picked out is a black and gold leather book with weird scribbles on the front of it. I reach over a pick up my beer bottle and hold it to my lips. Empty. Damn, I need another one.

"Well I'm gonna look through this one now." I say putting my hand on the black book. "And I need another beer, you want one?" He shakes his head no and I slide my chair out from under the table and make my way to the kitchen. I open the fridge and pull out another bottle. There is only a few let I need to make a run soon. I pop open the cold bottle and take a long sip. Then I have an idea, would Cas hear me if I pray? It's worth a shot. I put my beer bottle on the counter and take a deep breath.

"Castiel I hope you have you ears on. Where did you go man? Sam and I are worried. Can you please just pop by and tell us you're okay? Where are you buddy?" I let out a sigh and grab my beer bottle and head back out to my chair in the library. I open my book and start reading and dissolve into the words on the page. A few hours and 2 books later I fall asleep with a beer bottle in my hand and my head in a book.

Sam's POV

Since when does Dean pray? Does it count as snooping if I just happened to walk by when he started praying?

I'm worried about you, Dean I think yo myself this isn't like him he's never throws himself into anything unless it's concerning Cas or Lucifer. But Lucifer is the devil so I mean who wouldn't be concerned or mildly interested. Castiel is different I seems like everything revolves around him. Dean revolves around him. Oh shit it all makes sense now. How could I've been so blind how could've Dean been so blind it was in front of him this whole time. Has he realized it yet? Cas probably hasn't him being Cas and all. Dean is going to go crazy looking for him. I really can't believe how stupid I've been.

Dean is in love with Castiel
