Castiel's POV

A man smiles at me as he holds out his arms, I walk into his tight embrace. I feel warmth and security, I drape my arms around his muscular figure. I take a deep breath in, he smells of cinnamon and leather. We pull back from the hug in unison. I look up at the man in front of me. Freckles cascade his perfectly symmetrical face. I look into his eyes, oh god they are green. Beautiful forest emerald green. He says something but it comes out muffled and distorted. He is slowly fading from my vision, I want to hold onto him longer. His eyes are the last thing I see.

HONK!

The sound of a car horn jolts me from my sleep, I shot up from the chair of my stolen car. I certainly don't know where I am but I keep driving. Right now I'm at a speed trap in the woods sleeping in my car. I'm not tired but my mind wants to sleep it's truly odd. I move my seat into the upright position, I begin the drive again. I've been on the road a few days now it hasn't been much fun I need a companion, someone to talk to.

My mind drifts back to my dream something about the man was familiar. His eyes are so incredibly stunning like something out of a fairytale. As of now I don't know if it was a dream at all, it was way to vivid to be a dream. Maybe a memory? My head swirls as I try to put a name to the face but nothing comes to mind. I must know him, I must find him. Maybe he can answer all my questions, reason with all my doubts and tell me who I am. For the past few days I've been getting fragments of what I assume to be memories, but they mostly consist of pain which I would rather not remember. Most nights a nameless man haunts my sleep, he tells me what I've done wrong and how much of a disappointment I am. I try not to let them get to me, but sometimes it becomes to overwhelming. I'll cry until there is nothing left, I don't what I cry for or why I do, but I cry. In some ways it make me feel closer to who I am.

I've been in my mind so long I haven't noticed it's night out now. I'm surprised I haven't crashed into anyone yet. My headlights illuminate a path in front of me, I see a sign coming up it reads Lebanon, Kansas 5 miles. I like the sound of that, it sounds homey. I reach the city at close to midnight, I find a reasonably priced motel and check in for the night. My mind is mush but I'd rather not sleep, I want to see the green eyed man again but I'm scared of the other possibilities. I'll just have to take the chance, I rest my burning head on the pillow and slowly slip into a dream filled sleep.

"I'm sorry, Castiel." A younger man says in front of me his eyes are full of fear and sorrow. Who is Castiel? Am I Castiel? The man in front of me has a halo over his head and white wings protrude from his back. What is he, is he an angel? But angel don't exist. I see him press his fingers to my head and my vision swims before going to black.

I wake up my with my head pounding, my memories haven't given me any information as of yet but now I have a name. Castiel or whatever. I guess that is me. It's about 2 am I decide to stay the rest of night, I don't want to leave Kansas it almost feels like home.

Gabriel's POV

Damn I've really missed Sam. I sadly can't do anything to him because Dean is here. I am currently watching Sam sleep, not in a creepy way just in a you look really cute when you sleep way. I sigh and decide to climb into bed with him not before locking the door of course. I slip under the covers and Sam's arms instinctively wrap around my torso pulling me closer. I kiss his forehead which makes his eyes slowly flutter open. He sleepily smiles at me I smile back at him.

"Hi, kiddo." I whisper to him.

"Hi." He says, damn he has a sexy morning voice. "How long have you been here?" He asks. I chuckle and push his long locks out of his face.

"Not too long, you know you're cute when you sleep right?" A light blush spreads across his cheeks. I lean in and let our lips touch he instantly kisses back. We pull back and look at each other, a knock on the door snaps us out of our haze. I pull away from Sam and he does the same.

"Hey Sam do you know where Gabriel is? I need to talk to him." Dean yells from the other side of the door.

"No I don't, go look in the kitchen." He quickly responds. He looks at me telling me to go. With the snap of my fingers I vanish. I end up in the kitchen, I lean against the counter and close my eyes.

"Hey, Gabe?" Dean asks. I open my eyes and face him.

"What's up, Dean-o." I say playfully. He rolls his eyes.

"Do you think that you could possible find the angel that caught Cas? I mean or at least someone that had a hand in his kidnapping." I let the idea sink in, I mean it's possible I could have someone ask around a little more. I'll tell them to be more persuasive in getting information out. It could theoretically work.

"It's possible, I mean I could get someone on the inside to do more digging." I shrug and push off the counter. He nods and turns to leave. "Hey, Dean you know he'll be okay right? You need to get some rest, you don't look so good." He turns back to me. His eyes have heavy bags under them and his hair is an absolute mess.

"Why is everyone telling me that? I know he will be okay but that doesn't mean I'm going to stop looking." His eyes narrow at me.

"Dean, I know how about you and Cas." He freezes and stares at me his eyes shoot daggers into me. I shift uncomfortably under his intense gaze.

"You don't know shit." He growls. "Don't you dare method it again, you hear me?" I slowly nod and he exists the kitchen in a huff. Sam comes in after him looking back at his distressed brother. He looks at me and gives me a what did you do look.

"I didn't do anything, I just mentioned him and Castiel's little thing." He scoffs.

"Gabe, why did you do that?" I shrug not bothering to answer.

"Well before your dear brother stormed out he asked me to look into some stuff. On a totally unrelated note do you have some handcuffs that can hold an angel?" He looks at me confused.

"Um yeah I'll go get them." He turns and leaves, we comes back two minutes later with the cuffs in hand. "What do need them for anyway?" He questions.

"Just insurance." I simply respond. I smirk and walk up to him a kiss him swiftly on the cheek. "I've gotta go. I'll see you soon, kiddo." I snap my fingers and vanish. I teleport to a place just outside of Detroit, Michigan. I quickly make a call to an angel. I hear the sound of wings behind me. I spin around to face one of my only "friends".

"Hello, Gabriel." He states, looking very blank.

"Hi, Daniel." I respond dryly. "I need your help." He nods and I continue. "Can you ask around and find anyone who would know anything about Castiel." He looks at me sideways.

"I'll try but I will not promise you anything."

"I understand." I reach into my pocket and take out the hand cuffs. "Take these." I say handing him the handcuffs. He looks at me confused. "If you find an angel that knows something put these on them and bring them to me. Do you understand?" He takes the cuffs from me and nods and with that he's gone. I stay where I am and wait for him to return. It doesn't take him long to return and he has someone with him. The man he has with him looks scared to say the least. His eyes widen when he sees me, he goes pale and looks like he's about to collapse. I walk up to him, I study him.

"Y-you're supposed to be dead." He stutters out, I chose to ignore him. He doesn't deserve an explanation.

"I'll take him now. Thank you, Daniel." I grab the other angel my the arm and whisk him off to the bunker. The young angel trembles under my touch he's truly terrified. We land in the bunker. I call out for Sam and Dean. "SAM, DEAN GET IN HERE." I hear two sets of massive footsteps running in my direction.

"Gabriel, are you okay?" Asks a worried looking Sam.

"I'm fine." I respond. He comes into the room with Dean by his side. "Who's that?" He asks pointing at the angel beside me. I smirk and respond to question.

"Someone who might know where Castiel is."
