Chapter 14 - The Final Stand

Dean's POV

This is it this is our final stand, this is what decides if we live or if we die. I know that we will all die trying to stop Micheal. The only thing that I know for certain is if I die protecting Cas I've done my job.

Castiel's POV

Dean is my number priority, I'll protect him before I do anything else. If he dies during this I'll never forgive myself. If I die protecting him I've served my purpose as his guardian angel and boyfriend.

Micheal struts into the bunker like he owns the place, a wicked smile plays on his lips. "Hello, brothers." He calmly states. The blood in my veins start to boil at the sound of his voice.

"What are you doing here?" I snap with venom rolling off my tongue. He acts as if my statement hurts him, he places his hand over his chest.

"Ouch, Castiel can't we just talk." He slyly says as he removes his hand from his chest. I growl under my breath. He starts to go down the stairs, I pull Dean behind me so he's safe. "Awe protecting the humans now aren't we?" He fakes a pout and continues down the metal stairs. Dean takes my hand off of him and holds it in his own, it's a silent gesture but one that means so much. Sam has taken position next to Gabriel. We stand four in a line, this isn't going to end well for anyone.

Dean and Sam raise their guns and shoot at Micheal, but it doesn't work. "Ooo, that tickles." He's says as he shakes his body. I tighten my grip on the blade. I make my advance towards him but he flicks his wrist which sends me across the room. I slam into the wall and slide to the floor. My head pounds and my back aches.

"Cas!" Dean says startled from across the room. He runs up to me and helps me to my feet.

"Awe how cute the angel has a boyfriend." Micheal snickers. I stumble up with Dean supporting me under my arms. I bring my sleeve up to wipe the blood from my nose. Gabriel tries to catch Michael off guard and swings his blade at him. Micheal easily stops it with a deflection. "Oh, and Gabriel I'm so glad to see you alive." Micheal pushes Gabriel back, which causes him to almost fall.

"How did you know I was alive?" Micheal twirls his blade in this hand.

"Oh you know your pal Daniel?" Gabriel's face falls and lights up with intense anger.

"That son of a bitch." I pull away from Dean and go after Micheal I strike his cheek and he stumbles back. He comes at me and hits me in the gut causing me to back away. I lift up my blade a slice shoulder. He screams out in pain. Gabriel then comes over and slices his abdomen. Micheal swings at me and slices my cheek, I scream at the intense pain. The cut stings but I fight through the pain.

Dean comes to Micheal and punches him in the eye. Micheal barley flinches he grabs Dean by his neck slams him up against a wall he gets right up in his face.

"You are the reason the apocalypse didn't happen. You messed everything up." He pulls Dean off the wall then slams his head back onto it. I run up behind Micheal but he stops me, he freezes me in place. "You are going to watch him die." He takes his blade and holds it to Deans throat. Sam runs up and hits Micheal with the butt of his gun. Micheal drops Dean and Dean crumples to the ground holding his head.

Micheal grabs Sam wrist and snaps it, the sound is sickening. He takes a sharp intake of breath while holding his wrist. His gun tumbles to the ground. Micheal punches Sam in the face without missing a beat. Dean runs up a pushes Micheal away and drags Sam back taking his place. Gabriel goes to tend to Sam. I try to wriggle out of his tight grip but I can't. Dean is currently trying to fend off Micheal. But Micheal seems to be winning, I tighten my grip on my blade. I feel my wings spread and my eyes glow blue, which makes me free from Micheal.
