Chapter 3 - Close as Strangers

Trinity's POV

It's been a couple day since our trip and I became distant again, but I wanted to change that

I seem to always see Zach walking to his 6th period class, and one of those days I finally decided to tell Stacy how I felt about him. We were heading to the art room and he goes to the computer lab next to us. He wasn't here for the next 3 days because the freshman's were taking a camping trip. I of course started out with, "I need to tell you something." She guessed a couple times and she finally got it, I explained how I knew he was a grade lower than us and how I'm almost 2 years older than him because I started school late. I understand how hard it might be to confront him

Stacy and I had a plan, it was fool proof 10/10 would do. We were going to try to first get close to Zach's little sister. Our brothers were in the same grade as her, so we decided to use them. I know it's messed up, but you gotta do what you gotta do. So the plan was, our brothers are going to go over to Montro residence and asked for Andrea. The only way they were going to do it was to pay them, $5 each. I know it's bad to pay someone to hang out with someone, but I swear the things we do just to get closer to him is unbelievable. It took us awhile to convince them, but they finally did it. My brother Jake and Stacy's brother Lane were arguing about who will ring the doorbell and ask for her.

It's Saturday and all my friends are going to the carnival in town, but I decided not to go. I spent my time on my phone, like always. i didn't want to interact with anyone, not even Stacy.

I asked my brothers if they saw Andrea at the carnival when they came back. They responded with, "Yeah, and she was with her brother too." I of course regretted not going because it could've been a chance for me to see him. I swear I'm a couple steps away from being a stalker.

The carnival ended at Sunday and it's currently Wednesday. The school day was pretty normal, until Stacy and I found out that our friend Sarah never had a sleepover before. So Stacy and I had this crazy idea to have a sleepover party for her! It was also an excuse to invite Zach. The party was going to be at Zoe's because her house was bigger and she had a pool. We made party 'invitations' out of colored paper and handed it out to all of our friends, I think there was only 11-15 going, but i'm not sure. During our club meeting during lunch, that was when we decided to give the invitation we made for Zach. We though that Zoe liked him so we added a little note on the corner of his. We were all to stubborn to give it to him so we asked Cece to do it for us. When he accepted I was happy, because there might be a chance that I can spend time with him and get to know him.

We had at least two days to setup the party and make sure that people are actually coming. I was in charge of the playlist so I spent my Thursday afternoon making a 5 hour playlist for the party. In the same exact day we have the party, the Sophomores and the Juniors in the club were helping out the Middle School for their daily awards.

We decided that we were going to make s'mores at the party so we decided who would bring the chocolate, graham crackers, and the marshmallows. We had everything, but the the chocolate so me being stupid and annoying, yelled at Zach while he was going to his 6th period class. "Zach! Bring chocolate to the party!" He ignored me, and I was positive he was annoyed. After saying that I was full of regret and embarrassment. Zoe mentioned how I shouldn't have done that, which made me regret it even more.

The bell rang and our school day was over, I headed home after. I was going to get ready for the sleepover party until Stacy texted me. The text read:

"I can't go I need to clean my house."

That of course could not happened so I decided to go over to her house and help her clean. It took us at least 2-3 hours to clean, and around 6:15, her dad took us to the store to buy food and supplies for the party. We were then dropped off at my house and I grabbed my stuff from inside my house and we were ready for my mom to take us to Zoe's house.

We were driving to Zoe's house and she texted me:

"Zach's already here, come and hurry."

I of course was happy because of that and I told Stacy. We replied with:

"Ooooh get some!"

I know, I know, you're probably like, if you like him so much why are you saying that? Well, do I really want to let people know that I like him, no, I don't think so.

We arrived Zoe's and we said our goodbye's and thank you's to my mom. Stacy and I rushed in Zoe's house running and giggling. Zach was sitting right there on the couch watching a movie.

Hey! New update! This was more of an introduction to the party that's about to happen so I'm sorry if it wasn't that interesting ;) it's going to get better don't worry!
