Chapter Eight

Its been only a couple of days without Zach, but I've managed.

Stacy and I's friend Jacob is still in town and we all decided to hang out today. Jacob is going to start living with his dad in Long Beach before school starts, so we're trying to hang out with him as much as we can.

Of course, we all ended up at Zach's house, again.

We sat in a circle outside of Zach's house, we're about to start playing Never Have I Ever, this was going to be interesting.

Never Have I ever rules (optional to read this part)

When it's your turn, you say something you've never done before like for example,

"Never have I ever had my first kiss." if someone already had their first kiss they put a finger down.

It depends on how many fingers you're using. Sometimes it's ten sometimes it's just five. First person

to get rid of all their fingers, loses.

To be honest, nothing too interesting happened, but one or two things.

Zach said, "Never have I ever liked someone younger than me." ARE YOU KIDDING WHY ME. IS HE TARGETING ME THIS IS NOT OKAY. I put a finger down full of shame, but I added "It was a long time ago." to try not to cause any confusions and for people to make assumptions. People as in Zach, he can't know he likes me wtf.

Then during Jacob's turn he says, "Never have I ever liked anyone older than me." what a load of crap! He literally liked this senior not long ago. Silly goose.

Zach put his finger down. I FREAKED MY STOMACH DID SUMMERSAULTS. BUT WAIT. I don't even know if it's about me or Stacy or someone else. So I shouldn't make assumptions, right?

It was time for Zach to go, he was slightly busy today so our time together was short.

But I did spend the rest of my time with Stacy and Jacob. When we got inside the house, I asked "Who do you think he used to like thats older than him." I was curious, what do you expect?!

I got no answers, but Jacob said, "It's obvious you guys like each other, you literally put your finger down when he asked if you like someone younger and he put his finger down when I asked if he likes someone older. You're welcome." Jacob is never afraid to say what's in his mind. Which is so great about him.

One day, as we were sitting in Zach's yard, he went back inside into his room. He's looking through his drawer and he then asks us if we want to know something so secret. He then mentions how it's embarrassing that he has this things. Zach then told us a story,

"When I was walking at the beach, there was this thing. It's like a clam and there are pearls in it. A necklace and a bracelet. I don't know what to do with it though. i've had it for years."

Stacy then mentions how he should give it to his mom, but he didn't think that was a good idea. I then added that he should give it to his first ever girlfriend, it would be cute and romantic. He agreed.

We're walking back to my house, but Stacy and Zach were behind me talking. They're talking about who they use to have feelings for. Zach used to like this girl name Julia, who's a year younger than him, but thats it.

As the night time came, I decided to talk to my internet friend, Rianna. I told her all about my day with Zach and mentioned how he decided to give this pearl jewelry to his first ever girlfriend. Rianna believes that we're going to end up together in the end, but I doubt that. She told me to tell her when I finally get the pearls, which would never happen.

To be honest, I don't know if I should try to be with him or just stay friends. I have feelings for him that I can't explain. He makes me the happiest person alive and I cherish all the time we have together. But moving on, from him, is going to be so hard. Especially if I spend all this time with him. What do I do? Should I just wait it out? This is just am crush, I'm pretty sure, nothing more. I'll give it time, see where that leads me...
