Nightmare

Chapter 7

   *2 Weeks Later*

   Olivia's POV:

   "OLIVIA WAKE UP!!!" Dion screamed jumping on my bed waking me up. I screamed. "DION!!!" I screamed. Dion started laughing. I rolled my eyes. "Why'd you wake me up like that?" I asked groaning. "Sorry. It's Talent Show day!" Dion said. "Oh shit!" I said. I got up. "Why are you in a sports bra and shorts?" Dion asked. "Because I can!" I answered. He soon left. I changed into my red crop top with two white lines on the sleeves, black leggings, a red cap, and black and white vans. I went downstairs. "Hi Olivia. You look great!" Dad said. "Thanks." I said smiling. "Is that the outfit you're gonna wear?" Meredith asked. "Yup." I said. I was prepared for the judgement. "Cool." Meredith said. I was surprised. Usually she'd say, "ew oh my God that's so ugly on you!" Or something else like that. Soon enough, it was time to leave for school. "Good luck Olivia! See you later!" Dad said kissing my forehead and hugging me. Mom kissed my cheek and we left. Once we got to school, I was prepared for this hellhole judging me.

   Dion's POV:

   It was soon hours later and dismissal. Olivia was gonna rehearse in a room at school until around 5:00. The talent show starts at 5:30. "So we'll see you tonight." I said. "Yeah." Olivia said. "See you later Oli. Good luck!" I said hugging my sister. She smiled. Me and Meredith soon left.

   *A Few Hours Later*

   Olivia's POV:

   It was already 5:00. I was ready. I got my dance prepared. The guests started showing up. Then, I saw Mom and Meredith. I couldn't see Dad or Dion. "Hey Mom. Hey Meredith." I said. "Hi sweetie!" Mom said hugging me. "Where's Dad and Dion?" I asked. "They'll be here soon." Meredith said. They soon took their seats. I took mine where all the other performers were. I soon got a text. It was from Dion.

   Dion:
Hey Oli. Sorry I couldn't be there right away. Me and Dad are in the car. We'll be there soon. 👍

                                                        Olivia:
                           Hey Dion! It's ok! 👍❤

   Dion:
See you soon! ❤

                                                        Olivia:
                                                See you! ❤

   Dion's POV:

   Me and Dad went to the store before Olivia's performance. The traffic was a bitch! "We better make it there in time!" I yelled. "I hope so." Dad said. We kept driving and stopping due to traffic. Then, a car ran into us. I kept screaming while the car was spinning around in circles and hitting other cars. Then, our car crashed head-on into a lamppost. I looked over at Dad with blurry (A.N, my name's Blurryface and I care what you think! Too soon I'm sorry! Don't kill me) vision. He looked dead! "D-Dad?" I whispered holding my arm out. Then, all the light I saw faded into darkness as I was slipping into unconsciousness.

   Olivia's POV:

   Dad and Dion weren't here yet. When were they getting here? "Olivia. It's almost time for your performance." Someone from the office told me. I nodded. I stood up and left to go backstage. I was ready. "Hey Olivia. Are you ready?" My principal asked. "Yeah. I hope you don't mind that the song I'm dancing to has curses in it." I said. "No not at all it's ok." My principal said. I nodded and smiled. (A.N, the song is up there if you wanna listen). Once Betsy Adams finished her singing, my principal went up. "Now that was Betsy Adams with her singing performance! Now with our first dancing performance, put your hands together for Olivia Reed!" My principal yelled. People clapped and cheered. Mom was cheering and Meredith gave me a thumbs up. That was surprising. I stretched my arms while my principal left. Then the song came on. When I finished, people were off their feet and screaming. I smiled. I soon got off the stage.

   Meredith's POV:

   Now it was time for the winners. I was so excited. All the performers including Olivia were up there. "Now in 3rd place for this Talent Show is, Betsy Adams for her singing performance!" The principal said. Betsy looked upset but accepted her award which was a red ribbon that said 3rd place. She wanted to win 1st. "Now in 2nd place for this Talent Show is, Jimmy Gale for his magician performance!" The principal said. Jimmy grinned as he received his award which was a green ribbon that said 2nd place. "Now the moment you've all been waiting for! The winner of this Talent Show with 1st place is, Olivia Reed for her dancing performance!" The principal yelled. Olivia dropped to her knees and cried tears of joy. Mom jumped out of her seat and screamed. Olivia got a ribbon that was blue and said 1st place.

   Olivia's POV:

   I'm still shocked that I won! I can't believe it! I walked over to Mom and Meredith. In front of me, two cops were talking to them. Mom and Meredith started crying and hugged each other. I walked over to them. "What's going on?" I asked. "Oh sweetie!" Mom sobbed hugging me. "We'll tell you when we get home Olivia." Meredith sobbed. What were they gonna tell me?
