I wake up the next morning bright and early. Ready to start training!   But first, food.

I sneak out of my room and into the kitchen.

Kurenai is still sleeping, maybe I could make something for her... as a thank you.

I turn on the burner and start gathering the ingredients. I soon gather  1 teaspoon salt, 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder, 1 1/2 cups flour, 1 egg, 1 tablespoon white sugar, 3 tablespoons butter, melted, 1 1/4 cups milk.

Time to make some pancakes!

Kurenai POV

I'm awoken from my wonderful dream (I'll let you get creative with what her dream was) by some weird cracking noise. I make my way out of bed to investigate.

Once I'm in the hallway, I start to smell something.

What's that smell? It smells really good.

I slowly creep my way towards the smell, kunai in hand, just in case. I peek around the corner and what I see surprises me. It's Rizumu...flipping pancakes...

I put the kunai away and walk to her.

"Good morning Rizumu."

EEEP!!
CRASH!!
SPLAT!!

I wince at the loud noises. When I open my eyes again...the pan in on the floor and Rizumu has a pancake on her head...

Don't laugh,DONT laugh! This girl is going to be our daughter, don't laugh at her!! DONT-!

To late.

I let a few giggles escape my mouth and Rizumu looks right at me with the pancakes still on her head. She turns red and hides her face in her hands. I giggle once more.

"Did you make us pancakes for breakfast?" I ask with a playful smirk and a hand on my hip.

"I-I-I just wanted to s-surprise you...i-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to break everything..." she started to tear up.

I-I never meant to make her cry. Shoot, what do I do?!

"H-hey! Your not in trouble, I really appreciate this!" I panicked...

I brought her into a hug.

"Just be careful. Ok? I know your gonna grow up and be a great ninja...but believe it or not your still a kid right now. And tiny mistakes like this can happen, but that is why kami gave us mistakes. So we can learn from them. I'm sorry if I scared you."

Her tears run dry.

"Thank you Kurenai. I made p-pancakes for you. Would you like some?"

I looked down at my sweet little angel and smiled.

"I would love that very much dear."

     --_- after breakfast -_--

After we ate some very delicious pancakes we made our way to an open meadow, where I would start My little Rizu's training.

I had her sit down crossed legged across from me and told her to concentrate and try to control a bit of her chakra...

It's been HOURS and NOTHING!!! I'm starting to get very worried about Rizumu. She has lots of determination, to say the least, but eventually her determination ran dry and she became very discouraged. Only when she passed out that I knew something might be wrong.

I rushed her to the hospital and demanded that they look at her chakra points to see if they were blocked or something.

Thirty minutes later they called me into her room and gave me the news.

"We are so very sorry mam. But all of the chakra points in your daughter's body are closed. We even had a hyuga come in and check her out and they said that she could never use chakra ever in her life. We are so very sorry..."

Her dream...

"You lie! She has to have Chakra! She has to! How can she become a ninja without it!? Isn't there Anything you can do!?"

"*sigh* miss I'm sorry, but there is nothing that we can do. Her best bet in becoming a ninja is to join the academy and use nothing but tai-jutsu. From this day forward she will never be able to use ninjutsu or Genjutsu."

SLAM!!!

I look over at the door in surprise. Rizumu's bed is empty so she must've her and ran out the door.

"Rizu! Come back!" I thanked the nurse and ran after my daughter.

How is a child so fast!?

I looked around the entire town and nothing! Zero sign of Rizu...

I ran out of breath and leaned on a tree to recover my stamina. I was about to start running again when I overheard some children talking...one of them strangely sounds like............Rizumu...

I sneak up on the two children and I see that it was indeed Rizumu and she was talking to another child...who's eyebrows strangely resembled Gài's.

I tried to listen in on their conversation but I was to far away. I tried to move closer but I stepped on a twig...

Fucks on a stick....

Rizumu's head snapped up. She said something to the boy, hugged him, and ran in the direction of our house. I followed slightly behind her until she was right on our front porch.

"I herd you following me. Come out if you want...I don't really care." I herd her monotonely say

I rushed to her side and pulled her into a hug. Small sobs racked her body and my top was soon soaked with her tears...

Poor baby...

I picked her up and brought her inside. I sat her down on the couch and left to make dinner. When I came back she was in the same spot as she was before. The tear marks still visible on her face.

I set her food on the coffee table.

"Rizu...I'm so so sorry..."

She doesn't respond.

I bring her into another hug.

"I'm so sorry..."
