Shane is your dad??

The moment after I finish hugging my dad I turn around and see everyone in the group staring at me and my dad with wide eyes but that stops when Daryl steps up and asks "Shane is your dad" I then look at him and say "yeah at the start of this whole virus we lost each other and now we have been reunited with one another all because of you so thank you do much Daryl" with that said I then start walking over to him and as soon as I'm In reaching distance i hug him at firs he was stiff but soon hugged me back. As soon as we had stopes hugging everyone went back to their daily tasks and I just asked Daryl what needed to be done. Daryl had asked me to come and help him skin the squirrels he had caught when he had been out hunting he then told me he was the hunter for the camp.

Shane's POV :
Once y/n had ran off with Daryl I went over to rick with the biggest grin plastered on my face. I had my baby girl back. But that grin was shirk lasting as rick pointed out how close y/n and Daryl had been since he brought you back and I tried so hard to drug it of but it was difficult when all I was hearing was my baby girl laughing at all of his dumb jokes.

Daryls POV :

Y/n had just asked me what she could help with so I asked her if she would help me skin the squirrels that I would had just caught, to my surprise she actually said yes. Once we got over to my little campsite we started talking and I kept telling her these really dumb jokes that I had just thought off as quickly as I could. Y/n then asked " can I were your jacket?  it's a bit chilly out hear and this is all I have" she said pointing to the cloths she had on. "Uh... yeah" I said taking off my jacket and putting it on her. When I looked around to see if anyone had seen me be nice to y/n I noticed Shane staring at me so I gave him a death glare and turned back around to y/n and saw her skinning the last squirrel and to my surprise she was actually good at it. "For some reason I feel as if I need to protect this girl with my life" I thought as I started staring at her but was quickly shook out of my thoughts when j saw boots coming my way. As I look up I see Shane come to a stop behind   Y/n, bad he said "you don't mind if I borrow Daryl a Minuit do you?" He asked y/n, she replayed softly " no of course not dad". As I walked off in the direction of Shane I saw y/n smiling to herself and dam was it the most beautiful smile I had seen in my whole life. When I got over to stand he started saying "what's going on between you and my daughter?" "Nothing" I replied he continued saying "well if you ever hurt my little girl your gunna wish you were never born" and with that I walked back to my little campsite and began talking with y/n again.

Hey guys I know it's been a while but I have been dealing with a lot for one I am moving house and two my best friends are both moving away so I won't get to see them so we have been spending as much time together as we can.
I promise I will update soon so please continue reading my story and like I said before this is my first fanfic so please don't hate on it
