What the hell happened?

(Lafs pov)

Herc had just gotten up to get us more drinks. He really is the best boyfriend ever. As I'm lost in my thoughts a young women about my age appears out of what seems like thin air.

"Hey cutie," she slurred drunkenly.

"O-oh thanks but um-" I started to say I was gay and have a boyfriend when she smashed her lips onto mine.

I obviously don't kiss back because I'm gay. I look over to see herc balling and handing out drinks to Angelica and running out. I push the girl off of me and sprint after herc like motherfukin sonic. Angelica is in front of me and gets to herc first. She guided herc and Eliza to the car and into the back seat. I get in the front still shocked by the situation.

"What. the. Hell! Why did you kiss her! Your a flaming homosexual and you kissed a girl!" Angelica screams at me.

Herc is in the back balling and Eliza is passed out. I explain what the hell happened the whole ride back to the dorms.

As soon as we get there herc jumps out of the car and runs inside, Angelica's following closely behind and I'm making sure Eliza doesn't fall over. We get inside to receive weird stares from everyone and herc has run off to our room. OUR room. Meaning we have to share it. I sit down on the couch as everyone bombards me with questions. It was at that moment I knew I had fucked up. I broke down, sobbing uncontrollably while simultaneously trying to say what had happened.

After about 30 minutes we had everything figured out and I went to talk to herc. I knew my face was covered in tears and snot, but I needed to tell him what happened. I get to our door and was hesitant to open the door, yet I do it anyways. I cautiously step inside to see a mountain of blankets and a small herc face in a small hole so he could breathe.

Herc let out a strangled,"why?"

I lied down next to herc and looked into his glossy eyes, filled with tears I had caused. Seeing herc be broken because of what had happened made me break down again. I feel a shift in the bed next to me to find a pair of dark, muscular arms wrap around my neck and shoulders.

"What happened?" Herc asked, being as gentle as possible.

He rubbed comforting circles into my back as I struggled to get out words. After a while I managed to calm down enough to tell herc exactly what happened. He understood, pulling me into one of his signature hugs. It was nice. He was nice. I don't deserve him. What have I ever done to deserve him. We lay down to sleep, intertwined with each other in peace.

So that's what happened last night. And now it's morning and I wake up to make breakfast. Alex is the first to wake up  he has huge bags under his eyes and school hasn't even started yet. He sits down at the table and I place his plate of food infront of him. He happily chows down as john walks out of his bead room and into the kitchen. John and Alex make eye contact and turn red, what did I miss?  I don't think much of it because they are both awkward potatoes and have crushes on each other. Herc was the last to appear.

"Hey laffy taffy breakfast smells amazing," herc says in his raspy morning voice, which is somehow deeper than his normal voice.

Herc gave me a quick kiss and went to the table, patiently awaiting his food. After that a silence fell over the group. The silence was different for each person, for laf it was a tense silence because of the vibes from lex and Johnny, for herc it was a calm silence because he was the calmest he has been in a while, and for john and Alex it was awkward, for reasons.

"Food!" I heard someone sing out.

It was Angelica. I don't know how she got into the dorm, but she did. She pulled up the chair next to me and got a plate of food for herself.

"Hey how was your night?" She asked me.

"Well herc and I made up if that's what you wondering," I muddle through a mouth full of eggs.

"Oh good! Hey Alex, John I have a video to show you guys! Actually you to can see it as well if you like," Angie said, motioning to herc and I.

We gathered around Angie as she pressed play to a video on her phone. At first it was just john in Alex's lap, being cute with nose kisses and giggling, then they started to aggressively make out. I went back to my seat. I can't watch that, I might throw up if I do.

"Shit," I hear Alex mutter.

Is that why they were so red this morning? That would make the most sense, unless they went further? John wouldn't do that, would he? I hope not.

The video ended and Angelica started giggling a lot. Soon we were all giggling like mad men. I decide to go for a walk, and being john with me. I know john and he will talk to me about everything and anything so if they did fuck I would be the first to know...other than them I hope.

"John do you want to go on a walk with me? It's kinda nice out and I need to go to the pet store. The one with the, hoe you say? Tortue?" I ask him.

He nods his head and we are off. We leave the dorms and start walking towards the pet store.

"So john, last night did you and Alex...you know..." I try to ask him but it's kinda hard to.

"Um... well uh... heh y-yup," john stutters as we approach the pet store.

I knew it. John done did the dirty deed with his new roam mate whom he had only known for a day. I do not understand Americans. I walk in followed by john and we go to the tortue.

"Why did you want to come here?" John asked as he played with la tortue.

"Because I want to be a good boyfriend and get herc a kitten because he loves cats, and before you ask they allow pets in the building," I respond, dragging john away from la tortue.

We pick out a small grey and white cat with big blue eyes. I carry his home while john carries cat food, litter and a litter box. We arrive back and I run into our room where herc is drawing.

"Herc, I got you a present!" I squeal like a school girl.

He turns around to see the box with holes and squeals with me. He runs over and opens the box to see a small kitten inside. He takes it out and squeals like a school girl again.

"Laf! You shouldn't have! You are the best boyfriend ever!" Herc sings as he plays with the kitten.

"That's not all! Alex and john had the sex!" I whisper yell at him.

His eyes go wide and he giggles again. We bring the cat out to the living room where john and Alex are, and they are kissing... again.

"AHEM!" herc coughed loudly.

They pulled apart, blushing deeply.

"I take it they are boyfriends now?" I ask to no one in particular.

I get a head nod from Alex and giggles from john. They are so cute together. I suddenly got the most genius idea known to man kind.

"Lams!" I scream at the top of my lungs.

I get weird looks from everyone and slowly their faces change. They get it. They groan and I laugh. We have a great friend group and I wouldn't change it for the world.
