propose a possible proposal...kinda

(Alex's pov)

I awoke to myself, tangle up in johns arms. I untangle myself from johns unruly grip, and head to the kitchen to make some coffee. As I stand in the kitchen, I hear something I haven't heard in a while. Silence. Although I knew it wouldn't last long it was nice while it did. As if I could tell the future, a small, grey puffball breaks the silence in desperate need of attention. I scoop up the small cat in my arms, and lean on the gray countertop. Once again the small dorm is overtaken with silence. That is until I hear a thud and a quiet 'merde' coming from the hallway. I peer down the hallway to see laf laying face down on the floor. I walk back into the kitchen, pour the now finished coffee into four mugs, and walk back into the hallway, laf still on the floor. I help him up, and bring him to the kitchen, giving him one of the coffee mugs. Silence surrounds laf and me, aside from a purring kitten in my arms. It's a nice morning, but it would be nicer with john. I tiptoe into my room with a cup of coffee, 1 cream 5 sugars. I lightly shake john awake, who gladly accepts the cup of coffee.

"Thanks for the coffee,' john mumbles sleepily, sitting up in our bed.

"No problem," I say, giving john a kiss on the cheek.

John gives me a side hug, and gets out of bed to get dressed. He slips on a plain white tee and some grey sweatpants.

"You gonna keep staring pervert, or are you gonna get dressed?" john asks, and I feel my face tint pink.

I slip on some jeans and my maroon hoodie I wear religiously. I follow john out of our room and grab my coffee from the kitchen. We plop our butts down on the couch and turn on some random t.v. Channel. Once again, the morning is blissful, but now with my lovely boyfriend. Laf disappeared, I assume back to his room.

After about an hour, I decide we need to seize this beautiful day. I crawl off of johns lap, and grab our sweaters.

"Why do you have those?" john asked, still lying on the couch.

"I heard a new book store opened up about 5 minutes away from here. I thought we should check it out," I say, tossing john his sweater.

"Alright," john agrees, standing up off the couch.

We leave the house, and walk down the road to Paine bookstore. We open the door and the smell of fresh books, and oddly pumpkin spice filled our nostrils. I made my way through the bookstore, looking for a Stephen King book, because Halloween is around the corner, so I want something horror related. I walk over to the horror books and pull out one of the largest ones there, IT. I putt it (hehe) under my am, and go to find john in the biology section. He has a book on marine biology in his hands. I find the till and pay for the books. We leave the shop and loo for something else to do. I spot a small, pink ice cream cart in the grass.

"Ice cream?" I ask john, motioning to the cart.

He nods vigorously, and starts running over to the cart like a little kid. I walk over and buy us each one scoop of chocolate. We walked around the campus after that and just chilled. At some point we decided to get some fried chicken to share. We pay paled some KFC and chilled in the dorm. Once the food arrived, we went onto the roof of the building. Eating fried chicken, while watching the sunset is a great way to end a great day.

"What a great day," john sighs out.

"It is great day," I agree.

John snuggles into my chest even more. This is the life I signed up for, not what I used to have. The sky is slowly turning from pinkish-red to purple to blue. I breathe in john's scent of mint, and strawberry shower gel. This moment is heaven on earth if I could ever describe it.

"I could totally do this for the rest of my life," I say without thinking.

"Do what?' John asks me.

"Be with you," I respond.

"Really!?" john asks, sitting up a little.

"Really," I confirm.

He snuggles back into my chest, as we watch the sun set. What a perfect day.

So this is a short, filler chapter. I felt like I just needed to get something up for this book and this is what I got. Just a cute, fluffy chapter to quench your thirsts. Also this is super short. Oops 

Im also pretty sick right now so some of this might not make sense. I'll probably try to update soon but I've got a mean case of writers block as well. Have a good day or night
