And peggy

(angies pov)

we all sit in silence after John, Alex and I watch as Maria and Peggy walk out with Maria in tears. we all stare at the door in complete and utter confusion as a very flustered James Madison walks out of the hallway with a sniffling Eliza. liz walks over to the couch, sits down and just puts her head in her hands.

"this is all my fault," I hear liz mutter.

"what is?" a very concerned John asked, putting a comforting hand on Eliza's shoulder.

"I'm the reason they left!" Eliza screamed.

Something in my brain clicked and I was suddenly very enraged at Eliza. how could she cheat on Maria! was it because of Peggy? was it because of me? I swiftly stand up off my position in the couch crease and stand over the shrunken looking Eliza.

"Elizabeth Schuyler what the hell did you do to Maria!?" I screamed, grabbing her shoulders to pull her off the couch.

"Maria walked in on James and I kissing," Eliza sighed looking down.

I knew something was up because of Eliza would never do something so cruel to another person! she's so kind, caring, and giving it hurts her sometimes! I don't believe she would do something like this without a reason. she must have a reason.

"Eliza, why?" I asked her.

She looked up at me with sad eyes and just shook her head.

"I was gonna break up with her anyways and I think she was going to break up with me," Eliza sighed.

"I should probably go," James whispered, making himself known again.

"No you are going to stay right here and we are going to have a chat," I demand, motioning for him to sit down next to Eliza.

"We should probably get going," john said, rubbing the back of his neck with his left hand and Alex's hand in his right.

The boys left the house, and Eliza and James sat awkwardly next to each other.

"2 things I have to say. 1, Eliza, don't you EVER cheat on anyone again! You here me?" I yelled at Liz, Liz nodded her head and james looked nervous," and 2, james if you break my baby sisters heart I will break you!" Got that?"

James slowly nodded his head in response. The duo got up, and left to go to Eliza's room in silence. I decide to call Peggy and see how she's doing. I click on her contact and press the phone icon. I pulled my phone up to my ear and listened to it ring, over and over again, until I heard Peggy pick up.

"Hello?"

"Hi Peggy it's me, Angie, I just wanted to check up on you. How are you? Are you with Maria?"

"Oh I'm well and I am with Maria. How are you?"

"I'm well."

I heard giggles in the background and a 'Maria shut up'.

"I'm at Maria's right now and we are going out, bye!"

"Bye!" I called to Peggy, as I hung up.

I'm bored to I decide to watch Netflix, in bed, alone. God I'm so lonely. I should get a cat. Yeah. I should totally get a small cat.

I head to my room and watch Netflix on my laptop for a while. I binge watch three seasons of some show that I wasn't really paying attention to when my phone buzzes. I look down to see a text from Peggy.

Margaritaville: yo angie we should totes have a party tomorrow night! 

Womeninthesequel: sure! I'll let Liz know. Text the boys lol.

Margaritaville: k! I'll txt em. See you later sis ✌️

I put my phone down and continue to watch what I was watching when I heard a noise. It was like a squeak/scream/sqeaul coming from Eliza's room next to mine. My mind immediately went to the worst place possible. I hope they aren't having sex while I'm home, then again it's Eliza so probably not. I decide, against my better judgement, to go investigate.

I tiptoe out of my room, and lightly knocked on Eliza's door. I don't think that they heard me do I knocked again, only louder this time. I heard a muffled response so I slowly opened the door.

"You alright?" I ask my sister.

I open the door more to see Liz, snuggled up into james chest, whimpering lightly while James was holder her. I look at the laptop and they where watching a horror movie. I chuckle softly, and shut the door, turning on my heel. I shake my head lightly, glad that they are working everything out. I walk into my room and continue to watch Netflix.

(Peggy's pov)

I've been at Maria's house for a day and a half. It's been fun, we've been out for coffee, watched movies, eaten ice cream. I know she was just out of a relationship, with my sister no less, so I want to take everything lightly. We've also been tip toeing around the break up and everything around that. Other than the unspoken breakup, Mar and I have a lot in common. We both love video games, comic books, Disney movies, and we have an identical sense of humour. I really don't see how Eliza and her had anything in common. Eliza's a preppy girl who doesn't know the first thing about comics, or superheroes, she wears pastels and has fairy lights, and an unnatural dependants on Starbucks. Maria's not like that at all. Maria's a nerd, like me, and she doesn't like dresses, she doesn't like Starbucks, she doesn't know the first thing about being preppy at all! I think maybe we should speak about the breakup sometime today.

At the time being, we are cuddled up on the couch, watching Mulan. I pull out of the snuggle a little bit, deciding it's time to talk.

"Hey Maria, I know it's a sensitive topic, but I was wondering if we could talk about.... you and Eliza's breakup?" I mumble, looking down at my hands.

"Oh," Maria actually perks up," sure. I'm honestly kind of relieved. I was going to break up with her anyways, we didn't have anything in common anymore, but I want to make up with her and make amends."

"Oh! I'm glad your ok," I say, putting my hand on hers.

"That's not the only reason I wanted to break up with her," Maria mumbles," I found someone else I like."

"Who?" I ask, feeling kind of hurt.

"You," Maria said.

Maria slowly leaned forward, kissing me. Our lips moved in sinc, to a non existent rhythm in both our minds, connecting us in a way. We slowly pulled away, blushing madly.

"If you want to make amends with Eliza, why don't we throw a party?" I ask, snuggling in to Maria.

"Sure," Maria said, starting to play with my hair.

"Ok, I'll text Angie right now and see if we can throw a party," I say, whipping out my phone.

I throw Angie a quick text and put my phone down. I snuggle into Maria some more as we continue a snuggle fest. It's so nice just being snuggled with Maria, and breathing in her scent of; faint perfume, mint, and hairspray. I could just lay with Maria all day.

Ok so that was a relatively quick chapter but a fun party in the next chapter. Also I hit 60 views! What! Thank you soooooooo much for reading this book.

I think Ima start another book because I had an idea. So I hope this book still gets updated so I can finish it to satisfy myself and hopefully you!
