The room was being illuminated by the redish orange glow from the water. It almost reminded me of a electric stove. I was officially scared shitless at this point. That's when the static started again, soon followed by the high pitch beep.
"J, what in the hell is going on?"
"Gotta be more specific then that doll."
"J please just tell what's up with these weird ass lights!"
"What do you mean by that?"
"They look sketchy as fuck!"
"Ok, so you tell me what you think they are and if you guess correctly I will give you all the info you need to make it out."
"Fine! It looks like a hot stove top. Electric stove to be specific."
"BINGO! That's correct! It is in fact a heating system similar to an electric stove. So basically you have exactly 5 minutes until that water reaches boiling point. In that time frame, you need to find and switches somewhere in that water to stop the heater and open an exit. There are 3 switches two them are nonworking and the other is. Find it in time or 2,000 water bugs will be released for 1 hour along with some slightly toxic gas"
"WHAT?! What kind of sick shit is this? Have you been watching saw?'
"Actually yes, I have! Your time stars now by the way."
A loud buzzer goes off and pair off shitty goggles are dropped from the roof. I grab them and make my way into the water. I doggy paddle to the closest wall and feel around. I soon begin to sink, panicking while trying to kick my legs. I can't swim. I never got a chance to learn. The closer and closer to the bottom, the warmer the water gets. I kick one more time and my foot hits the ground I scream out in pain from the stinging sensation in my foot. Big air bubbles are the only thing that leave my mouth besides and a muffled cry. I claw on the wall I to force myself to the surface. I began to panic more when I realized how badly I needed air. I kick my feet as hard as I possibly can and continue to forcefully claw at the wall for Leverage and stabilty. Just when I think I im all out off air, I reach surface. I gasp loudly and rush over to my bed. I hear a small beeping under my pillow so i look to see what it was. It was clock. I had 3 minutes and 45 seconds left. I slide back into the water and head straight for the next wall. I feel around with both hands in all directions. All of a sudden I feel my fingers brush across something. I hurry to try and see if I can flick it and it works. I come up for air but only to see that nothing hss changed. I breathe in as much as i can and go back under. I go towards the other wall but my arms and legs begin to feel tired. My body then slowly but surely starts to give out. I quickly as i can make my way to surface and take one last breathe. Then, right from the corner of my eye see another switch with in a short distance. I quickly push myself off the wall as hard as i can. I put put all my strength in my legs for a good push off. I make it to the other side and flick the switch. I slowly begin to get tired again and begin to sink. As I sink I look up towards the bottom of my bed. Wait a sec! Is that... No. It couldn't be. Or could it?
