I saw him. Lee Minhyuk. My boyfriend, with his arm wrapped around another woman's waist.

I waited for the woman to leave before walking up to him.

"M-minhyuk?" I asked, cursing myself for the stutter that decided to involve itself in the situation.

"Y/N? What are you doing here? I told you to st-"

"Appa!" A little toddler cheered.

"She-....She's.... yours?" I asked, broken.

"Yes." He replied sternly, picking her up.

"Who were you lying to?..... Your wife... Or me?" I asked softly, the salty taste of my tears already infecting my tastebuds.

"You." He replied nonchalantly.

"W-...Why?"

"I never really liked you. My wife wanted a break and you were just a distraction for a while." He excused.

I was speechless. I couldn't even look him in the eyes.

"It didn't mean to end this way. I was going to break it off on our date tomorrow but I guess you saved me the time." He said, turning his head to the right and looking at a woman in the distance. "My wife is coming back so I hope you don't mind pretending this never happened."

I looked up at him one last time before running to the street. How could he?

My tears were blinding and I couldn't see where I was going until I wiped them away and heard the loud honk of a car.

I was raced to the hospital after getting hit... I couldn't really remember what happened after that.

I woke up on a hospital bed with three people in the room.

My mother, father, and my best friend Jieun.

"Eomma?" I called.

"Y/N! Yeobo, call the nurse" My mother said to my father.

"What happened?" I asked, looking around my surroundings and seeing that I had my left arm and my right leg in a cast.

"Y/N.... You got hit by a car." Jieun stated, forcing all the memories to come back.

"How long have I been here?" I asked.

"2 weeks, dear." My mother told me, taking my hand in hers and hold it tightly.

"What happened? You told me you were going out and then 30minutes later, I got a call that you were emitted to the hospital." Jieun said worriedly.

"Ah....I saw Minhyuk.... Something happened and I got upset.... I wasn't looking where I was going and I guess I got hit." I said truthfully. I wasn't quite ready to talk about what happened with him.

"I called the nurse. She's been here in a few moments to run some tests and then you can rest." My father spoke as he reentered the room.

"Thanks dad..." I said softly before laying my head back and closing my eyes

"We'll leave for a bit so they can run the tests... We love you" My mother said before her and my father left the room.

"I'll go too. Give me a ring when you're ready to talk about what really happened with Minhyuk." Jieun said to me before leaving as well.
