Chapter 2~ Cancer

~Cameron's Pov~

I feel my heart race and my mouth drops open in shock. "W-what type?" I ask nervously. "Leukemia ....but it's only stage 1" the docter says trying to calm me down. "It would be best if we begin her treatments now" the doctor states. "Okay" I nod my head. "When Can I see her?" I ask. "You can go into her room now but she may not be awake" he says. I walk over to her room and enter. I realize how close I was to losing her.

I don't know what I would do without Amara

She's not awake yet so I just take a seat next to her in one of the chairs. I grab her hand and hold onto it, then I fell her tighten her grip and she opens her eyes. "Cameron" she smiles at me, "I'm so glad your alive" I say and kiss her forehead. She puts her hand on my cheek and pulls me in to kiss her lips, a sweet, slow kiss. "I love you Cameron Alexander Dallas" she says and smiles. "I love you Amara Elizabeth Jacobs"

The doctor comes in, "How are you feeling Ms.Jacobs?" He asks looking down at his clipboard. "Fine...I guess" she says a little unsure. "We have some terrible news...."the doctor trails off. "You have been diagnosed with Leukemia Ms.Jacobs"

I feel her grip on my hand tighten, and I see a single tear fall down her perfect face. She eventually nods her head and the doctor explains everything then leaves. "Amara.....you can make it through this, I will always be here for you" I say, she looks over at me with tears in her eyes. The doctor says she should stay in the hospital for a couple more days. Through those days she will start going through chemo therapy to help with get rid of the cancer.

****5 days Later****

"Are you ready to leave?" I ask as me and Nash enter Amaras hospital room. She's already changed into her own clothes and out of the hospital ones. "Yea I'm definitely ready" she says with a slight smile. Dylan's funeral was when Amara was in the hospital, she didn't want to miss it but she had to stay in the hospital. I think it was best she didn't go either.

"Shall we go?" She says and we walk out to the car. We drive to the hotel and all the other guys are there to surprise her. She walks in the room and they all comeover and hug her "group hug!" Someone yells as the gather around her giving her a huge hug. She laughs "I missed you guys". It's so amazing to see her happy again. We all just hang out for the rest of the day, it's like Amara doesn't even have Cancer. These moments are what I live for....seeing her happy.

She comes over to Nash and I after she receives a phone call, "so my cousin is getting married....do you two want to be my dates " she asks with a. Smile. "Of course" Nash and I say in unison."It's on Sunday" she says. It's Friday so we have two days. She smiles, her smile is the most amazing thing I have ever seen in my life.
