Chapter 16~ Back Again

Back again, Back to North Carolina

Last time I was here, I was with Nash

Having the time of my life

One of my best memories I have with him

Was all here

And now he's gone.

I exit the car and approach The door of his house. Hayes answers the door and I pull him into a hug and he silently sobs onto my shoulder and I do the same.

"I miss him....he was my best friend" Hayes says quietly.

"I know Hayes....I know" I stutter out.

No one else is home, they are all meeting up with the rest of the family but Hayes refused to leave. He wanted to stay home, stay where Nash once lived happily.

"I'm Tired we should get some rest...." I say and look down. Hayes Nods and we walk upstairs. I wish that Cameron was here too but he won't be till tomorrow.

Hayes opens the door to his bedroom, all of Nash's things are still there the same way as before. I slowly lay back onto the bed and wrap myself in the blankets, Hayes turns off the lights and he goes to his bed and lays down.

After 1 hour I can't fall asleep everything reminds me of him, I put in my headphones and begin playing a song, a song that reminds me of Nash.

Guess it's true, I'm not good at a one-night stand

But I still need love 'cause I'm just a man

These nights never seem to go to plan

I don't want you to leave, will you hold my hand?

This ain't love it's clear to see

Why am I so emotional?

No it's not a good look, gain some self control

And deep down I know this never works

But you can lay with me so it doesn't hurt

A shadow approaches me and Hayes comes up to the bed and I nod allowing him to lay next to me, we both stare up at the ceiling not able to sleep

Oh, won't you stay with me?

'Cause you're all I need

This ain't love it's clear to see

But darling, stay with me

I'm sorry for having Nash die, I cried a lot writing these two chapters
