"BEN, have you tracked the murderer yet? Another person had died last week, just a week after Louis got murdered." Ulani explained. Ben shook his head, still wondering who the victim was. Phillip sat down sighing, frustrated about the situation whilst Derek wordlessly examined the papers in front of him. They were sitting down in Simon's office, papers and timetables laying all over the place. It was impossible to track down the killer, even if they managed to have more staff helping them. Unexpectedly, Simon strolled in as everyone fell silent, watching him. After Louis got slain, the staff don't think they can trust anyone else. They depend on Simon as he knew who to trust.

"Any success finding the murderer?" he asked. Wendie, one of the leaders nearest to him, trembled. They couldn't find the clues to these murders, as the assassin left no evidence. Timathon muttered something about getting a drink and he disappeared, closely followed by Phillip and Xena. The door closed with a soft click. The bright moon shone like a torch in the inky-black night. The stars winked at them as they recorded the results for the assassination.

"The second killing is the same as the first one I think. A knife through the throat." Derek whispered softly, shivering at the image of their friend sprawled on the floor. Lifeless. With dried blood trailing down his neck. The door rapidly burst open, causing most of them to jump in fright. JD looked around the room, not meeting their eyes, panting unevenly. He pointed towards the exit, fear shining brightly in his eyes as he muttered quickly that the others can't make out.

"The body... Same as Louis' death... Body of Adrian..." The name made everyone to forget what they were doing. Seth choked violently as Josh stood up abruptly. Ulani started to weep whilst Ben and Simon tried to comfort her though it didn't help. Wendie looked aghast. Adrian was the one who could have solved this problem. But now he can't... he was dead. Derek looked towards the exit, wishing that it wasn't Adrian who got killed. There was no hope of finding the assassin. Ulani shuffled out the door, tears still streaming down her rosy cheeks, wanting to see Adrian one last time before leaving. After reaching the table with a motionless body on, they studied him. The wide eyes black with death, the half-dried blood oozing from his gash and the shredded shirt he was wearing last night. There were cuts on his colourless arms like he struggled to fight back when he got attacked. Wendie whimpered, too terrified to glance at the body again. Two of the best staff. There must be a reason why they were getting targeted. Just outside of the cloudy window, the murderer strained to peer through to see his next victim. His assistant finally found his target downstairs. A malicious grin cut through his pale face as they pushed themselves off the rough wall. They leaped from the rusty balcony, disappearing into the night. Wendie still couldn't bear to look at her friend's dead body even though Ben and JD gingerly searched for any evidence for what kind of knife or dagger the slayer had used. They searched the wounds and clothing that Adrian was wearing, trying to search for anything that may narrow down the choices.

"There is nothing here for any evidence!" Ben exclaimed with frustration. Derek paced around the room, unable to deal with the fact that Adrian was killed and in such a clean but barbaric fashion. Ulani shuffled closer to Wendie, trying to encourage her to face reality. However, she continued sobbing quietly despite the constant attempts to cheer her up. Adrian just meant too much to her and everyone else. Josh sat down on a wooden chair whilst running his hand through his hair, cursing angrily.

"Are you sure there's no evidence? There might be something that the murderer left. If not... Was anyone with Adrian when we left?" They all shook their heads. "There might be a witness. We can search the who-" Josh sentence got cut off by an ear-splitting scream. They gawked at each other and rushed out of the door, searching the place where they had heard the cry. A few minutes later, Timathon stumbled into them in the silent hallway, Xena doing the same.

"Timathon! Xena! Thank gods you're ok. Where did the scream come from?" Simon questioned them. Xena swayed a bit and she held up a hand to say that she will talk later when she had calmed down. Toxic placed his hands against the smooth wall and slipped slightly. Once he saw his friends frown at him, he realised that there was some kind of liquid that covered his hands. Blood. He grimaced at the sight. He knew what they were thinking right now.

"I swear it was not me! Ask Xena, she was the one who said that we should split up when we overheard somebody speak." Xena dipped her head low, to hide the guilt that was displayed on her face. Toxic resumed, "I went to the car park, Phillip went to check the main entrance and Xena went to the lounge. We both heard Phillip after about 10 minutes but... we were too late." He hung his head. "His body was on the desk but his throat was sliced, unlike the last two. There was blood everywhere and I felt his pulse. I hoped that he survived but no... It was still... But not just that, I found another body somewhere in the woods. It was the policeman's...." Wendie shuffled her feet timidly and turned her head, trying not to cry again. There was nowhere safe for them now. If they hide, the murderer will sure find them.

One wrong step, one of them could die.
