''No.''  A voice calls out from many yards away. The man on top of me lifts his head up, and looks back. That's when I try to make a break for it. I punch him as hard as I can in the back of his head, and he topples to the ground next to me, with a groan of pain escaping his lips.

I stand up, and an arm from behind wraps around my neck. I punch, kick, and do whatever I can to try to escape this person's grasp, but I can't. ''Stop strugglin', boy.'' A deep and gruff voice says into my ear. I relax, and look around the room. A group of 10-15 people stand around me, one of them with and arm around Brooke's neck, just like mine.

Suddenly, a man steps into the circle, and he walks towards me. He has a skinny complexion, with piercing blue eyes, and a light beard. His clothes are ripped in many spots, and he's very dirty, with something hanging from his belt. As he steps closer, I notice that its a group of ears, strung together by a single thread. My stomach feels queasy, and I become light-headed, but I have to stay strong.

He steps closer, until he's face to face with me. ''You know what we're gonna do to you two?'' He asks, and I shake my head. Well, I do know, but I don't want to assume the worst. 2 words escape his lips, but I don't understand them. He walks over to Brooke, and looks straight into her eyes. ''What a nice piece of ass.'' He says, and the men surrounding us chuckle. Brooke knits her eyebrows together, and then she spits on him. His face reddens, and then he slaps her. Her head falls to the side, but then she picks it back up and starts yelling curse words at him.

''YOU CRUSTY FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT!'' She yells at him, and he only laughs. ''Bag em'.'' He commands, and a burlap sack falls over my head, obscuring my vision. The man behind me grabs my two hands, pulls them behind my back, and he ties them together. ''Let's go!'' The man who slapped Brooke says, and we start walking.

Brooke's Point of View

I thrash and I yell, but all my efforts prove pointless. ''LET GO OF ME!'' I yell, but they keep pushing me along. We walk for what seems like forever, but then we finally stop. The smell of cooking meat fills my nose, and my mouth starts to water. ''You can take them off!'' The same man whom I spit on yells, and the sack flies off my head. The bright sun blinds my eyes for a few seconds, but when they adjust, I can see where we are.

In front of me stands are large wall made of wood and other objects, to my left and right are woods, and behind me is the road we were just walking on. ''Open the gates!'' The man yells, and the wood panels in front of me swing open. Inside is what seems like a thriving community, with a road down the middle and buildings on both sides. The man walking in front of us turns around, and lifts his arms up.

'Welcome to Oasis. We'll really enjoy you two here.'' He says, and he drops his arms. He leads us up the road, and then into a large brick building to our right. He leads us through the building, taking lefts and rights through many hallways, and then he opens up the door to a small, dimly lit concrete room with nothing in it. ''Go on.'' He says, gesturing to me and Aaron. Our attackers let us go, and we walk into the room. We don't try to escape though. That'd only end in our deaths.

''See you soon.'' He adds, and the door slams behind us. I look over to Aaron, and he has a blank expression. That's one thing I never learned how to do though. I could never hide my feelings. Tears start dripping from my eyes, and he comes over to comfort me. I push him away, and he looks confused. ''Get the hell away from me!'' I yell to him, and more tears run down my face. ''It's your fucking fault we're in this place!'' I yell again, and I start hitting him. He grabs my hands, and holds them down. He lets go, and i place my head on his chest, and let it all out.

I think about the death of my parents, my friends, and anyone else I've ever lost. He holds me tightly, and I cry until it seems as though there's no more tears left. I pull away, and look at his face. His bright blue eyes are the first thing I notice, and then I see a bruise on his jaw, which must be from where I hit him. I put my hand to it, and he winces. ''I'm so sorry.'' I say, and he nods his head. That's when the sound of footsteps fills my ears.

The door to our room opens, and in steps the same man from earlier. He stands there at the door, and I notice a small trace of red next to his mouth. ''Thank you both for not trying to put up a struggle.'' He says in a light, calm voice. ''I'm the leader of this place, which you should already know by now, and I need to make sure my people are safe, and well fed.'' He adds, and my heart drops. ''So this is what I've concluded. Two young people like you couldn't of survived on your own, so that leads me to believe you have a group. All I need you two to do is tell us where your camp is. If you do, I'll let you both go, unharmed.'' He finishes, lingering on the word unharmed.

''No.'' Me and Aaron say at the same time, and I glance at him. He's only been with us a day, so he probably doesn't even know where camp is. He's useless to them. The leader drops his head, and he laughs. He picks his head back up. ''That's what I thought was gonna happen. C'mon boys!'' He says, and two large men from earlier come into the room. The walk towards Aaron, and he backs up. They eventually corner him, and they push him up against the wall.

Rage fills inside me, and I think about attacking the leader, but I'm smarter than that. I know he can easily kill me. ''I'm going to ask one more time. Where is your camp?'' He asks, and I look back at Aaron. They have his hands up against the wall, and one of the men has a knife in his hand. Aaron looks back at me, and shakes his head. ''No.'' I reply fiercely, and the leader laughs again. ''Okay.'' He says coldly. ''We'll force it out of you. Go on, boys.'' He adds, and Aaron screams from behind me. I lunge at the leader, but he stops me quickly, holding me in my place. He leans close into my ear, and whispers ''We're gonna have a lot of fun.''

He leads me down more hallways, and into a room with a large, metal table in the middle. He pushes me against it, and closes the door behind us. ''Shirt and pants off. Now.'' He says coldly into my ear, and I shake my head. ''No.'' I say calmly, but he hits me on the back of my head. My vision blurs, but he didn't hit me hard enough to cause any major damage. ''Take them off. Now. Or else your little boy toy back there becomes our next meal.'' He replies calmly, and I go along with it. I pull my shirt and jeans off until I'm standing there almost nude, and I hear him grunt behind me. I hear a zipper unzip, and then I get bent over the table. Tears form in my eyes as he unbuttons my bra and pulls down my underwear.
