Hailey's POV

Day 1 without Him

Either I am dreaming or this is an awesome reality! I screamed in joy internally as I kept gaping at the beautiful architecture of the house. It looked so modern on the outside but so elegant and possessed a classic finish on the inside. Beautiful paintings and furniture filled the rooms with huge windows that welcomed the bright sun rays with open arms. The chandeliers dangling from the ceiling gave off a spectrum of colors when the rays struck it and it just brightened the room even more if that is even possible.

"Beautiful isn't it?" Jake whispered amusement filled in his voice as he stood behind me.

I smiled at him "more than beautiful there are no words to describe such beauty.." I said as I stood in awe of a magnificent sight.

He hummed in agreement "yes you're right. I too never got the words to describe it and it was me who had designed everything."

I turned to him shock clearly edged on my face as I asked curiously "You designed this?!"

"Well yes, with the help of my dad and some professionals but mostly all my ideas." he said with pride "I wanted this place to have that whole Spanish aura to it by giving it a slight classic touch but still not forgetting the whole modern look."

I nodded as he led me upstairs and while I passed the living area my heart almost stopped. He wasn't wrong when he said it didn't miss the modernity in its classical aura. It was beyond breathtaking and the color of the walls and big windows just freed up the space making it seem even bigger.

I couldn't not admire the intricate designs that were carved into the walls and the amazing combination of color just made this feel more like a palace every step I took.

He took our luggage and placed it in front of a dark wooden oak door which looked to be hand carved with small designs of roses and what seemed to be tiger-lilies. I noticed all the doors were designed with similar patterns but each with a different flower, I am sure this house took forever to build with so much detail and all.

Jake took out a key and unlocked the palace like doors pushing it open, my heart literally stopped at the sight of the huge king sized bed in the middle of the room, large windows as seen all over which clearly made it visible to see the stars at night from the rooms. The windows overlooked the back of the house with a beautiful garden in view, the walls painted in peach and white making the room immensely bright just enough to expel all kinds of darkness that could be hiding this can't be mine, I'm sure this is his.
