"why mark? why did you do it again?" joey asked, tears still streaming down his face.
mark looked at him with no emotion.
"i didn't want to feel the pain," he replied.
"SO YOU CAUSED MORE PAIN TO YOURSELF?" joey exclaimed.
joey was so confused.
and terrified.
confused on why mark was hurting again.
and terrified that he can't do anything to stop the pain again.
he already cleaned up the mess mark made and bandaged all his cuts.
all while he was doing this, mark just stared off into nothing.
joey was scared and he just didn't know what to do.
"why are you hurting again mark?" joey cried out, almost feeling the pain his older brother is going through.
"because all i deserve is pain," mark said in a monotone voice.
joey had to do something to help his brother, and maybe the best thing to do, was revisit the past.
