Monday Morning , September 4th- 6:29 AM

I slammed my hand on my alarm clock button as it went off . I got up and stretched . I went downstairs to see my mom at the stove flipping pancakes . I sniffed the air and smelled blueberries , my favorite . I went into the kitchen and got two glasses for my mom and I . I grabbed the orange juice out of the refrigerator and filled the two glasses . I grabbed two plates out and set them down next to my mom so she could put the food on the plates . I grabbed the syrup , 2 forks and some napkins and took them to the table . She brought our plates to the table and sat across from me . We gobble down the food and then put our silverware and everything that we used in the dishwasher .

"You ready for your first day sweetie ?"

"Actually , yes I am . I'm ready for the sports ."

"I'm sure you'll do good ."

"Thank you mom , I'm gonna go get dressed and ready ."

I walked back upstairs and started getting ready . I put a hair tie around my wrist and got my clothes out .

Today I was wearing a long sleeve high low tan sweater , some light blue jean high waisted ripped jeans and some gray converse . I did a gray lid with a wing and some highlighter and lip gloss . I grabbed my backpack and my gym bag and went downstairs to see my mom drinking coffee while on her phone .

"Mom , can you braid my hair ?"

She started braiding my hair while I got on my phone . I had 2 texts from me and my bffs group chat from back home . The reason we moved to Fort Lauderdale was because my mom got a job offer . It was me and my mom most of my life so I wasn't really used to having a dad and I'd like to keep it that way . I went to the groupchat and clicked it .

Groupchat: My loves ❤

Laniii: BITCH WE MISS YOU ALREADY

Steph: YES FR WHEN YOU COMING BACK

Nessa: hopefully this doesn't last long , but you guys can come visit me , I live 6 hours away ..

Laniii: ness , nobody wants to drive that far

Steph: we'll come see you this weekend , I'll drive since I'm not lazy :))

Nessa: okay guys I gotta go , I have school

Laniii: BYE WE MISS YOU
