Monday Morning - Countdown to Formal- 4 days

I woke up to my bestfriend / apartment mate shaking me to wake up .

"WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT !"

"WAKE UP SCHOOL STARTS IN 15 MINUTES !"

Everyone knows I don't like waking up but what I don't like even more than waking up is being late . I jumped out of bed and went straight to my closet . I picked out my maroon crop top sweater , my black leggings , my black socks and my black converse . I took my contact case and put some solution in them because I forgot too last night . I put my contact case in my backpack and then go to my vanity . I grabbed my black distant friendship bracelet and put it on because Kathryn's wearing hers . I put my hair into a messy bun and go into the bathroom . I brush my teeth and wash my face and dry it .

As you can tell , I like the color black and red . My room is decorated with the colors of nothing but red , black , gray and blue . I grab my phone and backpack and rush out of the door to Kathryn's car .

When we get to school , its 5 minutes before the bell rings for us to be late . People just started walking to class so a wave of relief ran over me . Kathryn and I were talking as we saw D'Asia and her group walked by us . We stopped in our tracks and looked down . I've always wanted to D'Asia and her group because they all seem so cool . When she passes by me , she says "Hey Kathryn , hey Skylar . Did you guys get your dresses yet ?" Her group has walked away and its just her and us talking .

"Yes , its a white dress with bling bling on the front . I just got proposed to by Isaiah ." Kathryn says calmly while I'm over here sweating bullets .

"Isaiah ? As in Isaiah Rivera ? My boy Wifi ?"

"Yeah . He asked me out so yeah ."

"Aww , and you Skylar ?"

"Do you know that guy X ?" Clearly she does , he's walking with her group .

"Yes why ?" She looked at me and she saw the I like him in my eyes .

"Oh honey , why don't you just talk to him ? He's in our first period . "

"I've talked to him . He's the one I'm going to prom with ."

" Aw , does he talk to you ?"

"Yes but I-" I was cut off by the tardy bell ringing .

"Damnit !"

"It's okay , I'll get us through ."

We walked in silence behind her to our first period Biology class . As soon as we opened the door , the teacher glared at us and stopped his lesson .
