Grace:

"Ma," She bursts into the house leaving Draco and I alone outside, a dog bounds up to us.

Immediately he starts barking. "Bandit," A boy, probably around our age calls him coming out of the house. The boy looks up and sees us. "Ma, Pa." He looks a bit nervous as he averts his gaze. Right, my clothes would be a bit scandalous in this time era, except for a stripper in a bar.

"I suddenly feel extremely under dressed." I whisper to Draco. He brushes his fingers across my own. This time I take his hand.

"You're beautiful." He whispers kissing my knuckles.

"Ma, Pa, this is Grace and Luke." Draco and I both give them an unsure smile. At least now I know that my assumption was right. We're back in the prairie days, and Laura is Laura Ingalls Wilder, before she married. "They're from England."

"We were visiting Grace's family, we got a little lost during our ride this afternoon." Draco says. His voice confident and sure. Such an amazing boyfriend. Or maybe it's the Malfoy side of him.

"Laura, why don't you get one of your dresses for her." Her mother says.

"I'm Charles Ingalls, this is my wife Caroline, our son Albert, and daughters Carrie and Grace."

"Luke Black, and this is Grace James." Draco says. I'm glad we finally reached the same page.

"Who are you visiting."

"Her Uncle John he's pretty new around here. I'm making a great first impression. We're getting married and I wanted to meet the rest of her family before we tied the knot." He says. I slip my hand into my school bag and find the ring I had taken off earlier, I slip it back onto my ring finger.

"Congratulations!" Charles grins. "When are you guys getting married."

"Soon, hopefully." I tell him smiling as Draco wraps his arm around my waist. He kisses my temple in response.

"Do you have somewhere we can bed our horses for a while?" Draco asks.

He walks toward their barn. "You're welcome to stay here for a while, until you find your uncle." He says. "There's a sod house that you're welcome to use."

"Thank you Mr. Ingalls." Draco says.

"Charles, please." He says.

"Thank you, Charles," Draco restates.

He nods and leaves Draco and I to bed down our horses.

"Hi Venus, I'm sorry." I apologize as I begin to take all of the riding gear off her and put everything on the rail by her stall. I stroke her nuzzle. Thankfully no one noticed or said anything about the modern look of the gear. Maybe they assumed it's how it is in England these days. One can only hope. I grab a few handfuls of hay and feed it to her. "I know it's not what you're used to, but you'll be okay for a while won't you?"

Course. Jupiter and I will be fine. She says

"We'll figure it out." I promise her. She whinnies and turns her head to the door where Laura stands with some clothes in her hand. "These are for me to borrow?" I ask her. She nods. "Thank you." I tell her. I take them from her. Draco steps outside and I quickly change into the dress. It's a simple light blue dress, it comes about to my calves. The collar I could do without, but it would be rude to cut it off. And send the wrong signal.

"Grace," Draco calls through the door. Laura slips out and he comes back inside. "We have to do something, what do you want to do?" He asks softly resting his forehead against mine, his grey eyes show every sign of worry I don't want to see.
