Grace:

"What do you think?" I ask Draco after the wedding turning to let him see the dress. "Do you like the dress?"

"I think you're beautiful. No matter what you wear." He says kissing me. "They're waiting for us."

"Yeah, we should head to the restaurant." I agree but neither of us makes any attempt to leave the church/school building. Finally, I step back to head to the restaurant. Draco takes my hand and walks with me. Outside the building. The townspeople are waiting as soon as we walk into the restaurant they're cheering and throwing flowers in celebration. Draco wraps his arm around my waist and smiles at me.

"Congratulations!" The Ingalls come up to us. Harriet Olsen with them.

"We hope you'll still stay in the Sod House." Mr. Ingalls says.

"We don't want to impose upon you," Draco says. "We should find somewhere where I might actually be useful. I'm not a farmer, Sir." He says. "And we really should find our families."

"Perhaps the Restaurant," Mrs. Ingalls says. "Mrs. Olsen?"

"I don't see what they might do, Nellie and Percival are taking care of things now."

"The blind school perhaps?"

"I think we'll be heading out a week from Sunday," Draco says looking toward me. "Find our own place to figure out what we're going to do."

"Until you figure it out you really should stay somewhere." Mrs. Ingalls says. "It's not an imposition." She assures us.

"Caroline's right." Mr. Ingalls says. "Stay. Until you figure out what you're going to do."

"We're going to think on it if it's okay," Draco says. "For now though," He turns to look at me, "I'd like to dance with my girl." He gives a polite bow and I'm taken back to 4th year. I curtsy and let him lead me around the room. "You're graceful as a swan. And as beautiful as an angel."

I smile at him, "I love you Draco." I whisper his name. He beams. "Always and forever."

"Forever and always." He promises me.

The party carries into the night and the guests of the town begin dispersing slowly Caroline and the children have gone home. "I'm ready to turn in too, Luke."

"Let's go home then," He says taking my hand. Laura having caught the bouquet smiles as she and the rest of her family head out. Draco helps me onto Venus and then mounts Jupiter.

"Just follow us," Charles shouts, he clicks his tongue and I hear the wagon and we follow behind the Ingalls' wagon. Bedding the horses when we make it back to the house. Draco wraps his arm around me and kisses my head. "Goodnight Luke, Grace," Charles says before heading into the house with Laura and Albert.

"Come on Mrs. Black," Draco says opening the door to the sod house and picking me up, "Welcome to our home away from home," He closes the door and places me on the bed before sitting down next to me.

"Lumos," He whispers his wand lighting up, I do the same and we place our wands next to the lanterns making it look as if the lanterns are lighting the room.

"What's the plan, Draco?" I ask him as we both lay back on the bed in the sod house. I lay my head on his shoulder.

"First is getting changed into something other than these clothes, I miss the suits I used to wear."

"I know you do Draco," I tell him, "I miss wearing shorts and pants," I tell him. "I miss home."

"I don't know how long we'll have to do this, or how long we've been gone," Draco says, "It's funny, I never thought I'd say this, but I miss my family."

"I miss my parents too," I tell him.

"Sleep, we'll work this out in the morning." He presses one last kiss to my temple before shifting so we're laying side by side, but there's a respectable space between us since technically we're not really married.

I wake the next morning wrapped in his arms and smile at the thought that one day, this could really be us.

"You're making it incredibly difficult to want to wake up." Draco mumbles. "Can we stay here forever?" He pulls me into his arms.

"You know we can't," I tell him. He sighs but makes no attempt to move.

I sign in contentment. I can't wait for this to be us, for real. This could be our life. In only a few centuries, back in Europe. Really us.

"Let's eat, and go for a ride." He agrees and we both get ready for the day ahead.

I always keep my bag that is basically a black hole on my in case we make it back unintentionally.

"What are we going to do Draco?" I ask him once we're out of ear shoot. Back toward where my uncle's woods will be.

"We're going to do exactly what we need to. We're going to make it through what's coming exactly how we're doing it now. One step at a time."
