In the space between almost and not quite
That is where we exist
Wasting time trying to decipher something as insignificant as this
When our education is slight
We notice things are like other things
For we live in a world where fools can be kings
When hits heaviest night
Camera flashes replace the stars
Holding the pyrotechnics of dawn behind bars
No matter the beauty of words uttered in fright
However brief the places or many the faces
The universes clock face is faceless
And in settles a truth that is not mine
