My answer to everything has always been 'I don't know.'
Because all we can know with certainty is 'I am'
This changed when the walking definition of hyperbole said to me, "you don't know much at all, do you?"
And although it ended on a high note, forming the beginnings of a question mark, I know that they did not question my manifestation of objective truth.
And so I said, "Well, I don't know about that."
I knew that.
And I know that the sky is not blue but a representation of the colour wheel.
And I know humans are not humane.
I know how to tie my shoe laces.
And wilting flowers are inevitable.
And I know that our veins are actually red but red light is trapped beneath our skin like our dreams or our hearts.
I know our atmosphere is what makes the stars twinkle, and although we see them as a light in the dark they have been dead for a long time
Because light travels the same way pain does
Slowly.
I know that mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell.
And that lasting impressions don't actually last.
And the word heterological is a paradox and the word paradox is heterological and considering that is a paradox in itself I know that im not certain if I know that.
I know that we cannot escape the inevitable and that all we are is a speck of imagination and determination floating around, smack bang in the middle of an infinite expanse of nowhere
And that all we truly own is a brief period of both past and future
And I know that this is what makes our fleeting existence mean something.
I know that there are some things that no one knows
And there are some things that everyone knows that I don't
And I know that we are made up of an abundance of mass and a few ideas
Some our own
And some pickpocketed from Victorian era rich men as if we are poor children
I know that we collect these ideas like postage stamps
Because once someone told me that I don't know much at all
And in the grand scheme of things I don't
So now I know that too
