Okay so usually I don't like doing mythical AUs, but this one was so funny I couldn't pass it up.

(Michael's POV)

In this world, when you do something incredible, you earn wings.

Most people don't ever have wings, just because incredible things don't happen that often.

But my friend Jeremy has the most beautiful, fluffiest, pearliest wings.

In my opinion.

~flashback~

We were crossing the road while going to Jeremy's house. I accidentally started walking before checking for cars.

"Michael! Wait!" I heard Jeremy yell.

I turned to see a car speeding towards me.

Jeremy ran over and pushed me out of the way. I fell onto the ground with minor scrapes.

Jeremy's foot was ran over.

We immediately rushed to the hospital.

They had to amputate two of his toes, but the rest of his foot was generally fine. He had to wear a cast for a few weeks while it healed.

Missing the two toes isn't much of a problem, it just makes Jeremy a lot clumsier when he isn't wearing his special carved shoes.

However, him running in to save me, not even caring if the car killed him, was an act great enough to give him wings.

~end flashback~

The thing about Jeremy's wings is that they're so soft. He can tuck them away under his shirt when he doesn't want them going everywhere, but at home he lets them sprawl out.

I usually lay my head on them. Jeremy is the best pillow.

Jeremy gets a bit mad when I play with his wings, though. I mean, I would probably be mad, too, if someone did something like that to me. But, I couldn't help it.

"Hey, Michael, I think I'm gonna go to bed," Jeremy said to me. I almost forgot he was sleeping over.

"Oh, okay!"

He got up with a yawn, probably to brush his teeth. I decided to do the same.

When we went back, we both quickly fell asleep. I didn't realize we were so tired.

I would talk about what my dream was, but it was honestly very vague, all I remember was talking to someone.

But, it was cut off, as I suddenly woke up. I couldn't breathe.

I got up quickly to discover that I was merely underneath one of Jeremy's wings. I sighed with relief, nobody was trying to kill me.

Jeremy was still asleep, though. I took this as an opportunity for me. I crept over to him and delicately caressed a feather.

One feather fell off (due to natural shedding, I did not pull it off, I swear) and floated to the ground. I picked it up and wore it as a mustache.

Wearing it as a mustache was a bad idea, I ended up sneezing.

I put my head underneath the wing so that my hair was covered by it. It looked like my hair was made of feathers. I put a picture on my Snapchat story.

Two more feathers fell off while I was playing. I peeped my head over the side of the bed to find Jeremy still asleep.

I put one of the feathers by his face and slowly brushed his cheek. He sleepily moved his hand to his cheek. I tried to suppress my giggles.

I kept doing this a few more times, earning a few groans of complaint. Surprisingly, he hadn't woken up yet.

I then took the feather to under his chin. I knew he was very ticklish underneath his chin, so I was excited for the result.

I lightly ran the feather across. He squirmed back. Then I heard him mumble a little. I could tell he was starting to come to.

I kept brushing the feather against him.

"Michael what the-" Jeremy tried to say, but he was cut off by his own laughter.

"S-Stop! It t-tickles!" he managed to say.

"I know," I replied with a grin. I then shot my hands down to his sides and wiggled my fingers around.

By this point, Jeremy was done. He tried to move his arms up to stop me, but he was too weak to do so. The tickling turned him to gelatin.

I stopped so he could breathe. Giggles still escaped him, though.

"Th-This is why I don't let you touch m-my wings," he said to me.

I replied with a kiss, which he happily returned.
