Cheer Up

It had been a couple weeks since all the drama between F/N and Jackson. I have been by her side nonstop to make sure she doesn't slip again. It has been pretty easy since Mark has been here most of the time helping. They have gotten really close recently. I'm glad really. He's able to cheer her up when I cant. Sometimes the other boys come over too. Even with all our efforts, she still hasn't gotten over Jackson. I guess I should have known it wouldn't be so simple. She loves him. Every time someone mentions him, or she sees him, she either locks herself away or cries. I don't know how else to help her anymore but just give her time. I was sitting on my bed on my computer when there was a knock on the open door. Mark entered and plopped down onto the bed with a sigh.
"Still can't get her to come out?" I asked, glancing over at him.
"Nope." He answered popping the p.
"Maybe you should just give her time." I suggested. He was quick to answer.
"I cant! I cant just sit around while my friend is in pain. I swear to god this is all Yugyeom's fault! Why did he even invite Jackson over in the first place?" He said exasperated.
"Hey don't get all mad at him. He thought he was helping. Its Jackson's fault for showing up here with his stupid girlfriend." I said and he nodded.
"Guys let it go. If its anyone's fault it's mine anyways. I was the reason they didn't trust each other." Jinyoung said sadly. He came in and sat on the bed with us. There was an awkward silence until we heard sniffling from outside. Mark shot up and ran out the door. Moments later he came back with F/N in his arms, her struggling to get free.
"Let me go asshole! What's wrong with you?!" She screamed. Me and Jinyoung were surprised at what was happening. When he finally got her in the room he locked the door and blocked her way out.
"Let me out Mark." She said, but he didn't budge, so she turned to us. We just shrugged.
"Sit. Now." Mark told her. She stood in her place defiantly.
"Mark what are you doing? Just let her out." Jinyoung told him, but he just ignored him.
"Do I have to make you? Sit." He ordered again. She finally gave in and sat down.
"Look you don't have to talk. Just listen. I can't stand seeing you like this anymore. You can't just live in your room forever. You have to get over him eventually. That's why we are taking you out!" He exclaimed. She looked surprised at his sudden outburst.
"Where?" We all asked. His smile only grew.
"We are going to Skyzone!" He yelled. F/N just stared at him. "What? I thought it would be fun." He seemed dissapointed that she wasn't as excited about it.
"I'm just not in the mood." She said.
"Well you're going anyways! We need to cheer you up like you did for me." I said.
"Yeah with out the disastrous ending." Jinyoung added and I punched him on the arm lightly.
"Fine but does it have to be Skyzone. Not that its not a fun place, but it will mostly be Mark showing off..." She said with a fake pouty face.
"I do not show off!" He exclaimed.
"You kind of do." I said slowly. He glared at me. Then he shifted his gaze to Jinyoung. Jinyoung just shrugged.
"A little bit bro." Mark scoffed at him.
"Fine. Where do you want to go?" He asked F/N. She looked up and tapped her chin as if she was thinking.
"Hmm. How about the beach!" She squealed. She really loves the beach.
"That actually sounds pretty good. Ok we are going to the beach!" Mark yelled again.

After packing snacks and a change of clothes for the day, we headed out to the beach with the rest of the guys, including Jackson. At first we weren't going to invite him, but the others thought it would be wrong to not invite him. At least his girlfriend left because she had something to do. The car ride was awkwardly silent, but when we got there everyone ran out to the water except me and F/N.
"Are you ok?" I asked her. She stood frozen in her spot.
"I don't think I can do this. Not with him here." She said, referring to Jackson. I didn't know what to do. I didn't blame her. I looked over and noticed her staring. I followed her eyes and found she was staring at him. He was staring back as well. Then he looked away and carried on playing with the others.
"I'm gonna get some sun. Wanna join me?" I asked hopeful.
"No thanks." She said, eyes still locked on Jackson. I sighed and walked away. I didn't know how to help her. When I got out there I noticed Jinyoung sitting in a chair reading a book. I pulled up a chair next to him and closed my eyes.
"What are you reading?" I asked him eyes still closed.
"Nothing at the moment. The sun is too bright. I can't see the pages." He said sitting the book down.
"That's what sunglasses are for." I said sarcastically.
"Ha ha very funny. I had some, but Yugyeom broke them. I swear I'm gonna kill that kid." He complained. I just chuckled and let out a sigh, breathing in the fresh air.
"Nice bathing suit by the way." He commented and I looked over at him to find him smirking at me. I was wearing a green bikini with straps going across the front. I just rolled my eyes and said a thanks. On the inside I felt a million butterflies. His smirk always has that effect on me. "Do you wanna go in the water?" He asked and I shrugged. It was getting hot so I went with him. Right when I got in it was freezing.
"Ah it so cold!" I yelled and Jinyoung laughed.
"Its not that bad!" He said and grabbed my arm. I tried to protest, but before I could, he pulled me under. I came up mad. He was laughing his ass off so I pushed him over, and he fell in as well. When he came back up, we were laughing. Then all of the suddenly, we heard screams and a huge splash. I turned to see Mark and F/N come up out of the water. They started laughing and it made me smile. She was genuinely happy. Jackson noticed to, and he wasn't to happy about it.
