Cancels Out

Prologue

"Get out!" Lucifer roared, a massive arrow-tipped tail sweeping around the devils legs. He was a giant compared to the demons and demonesses who pleaded forgiveness at his feet. He stomped a cloven hoof, sending a ripple though the loose rock around them. Molten rock spewed from a crack, causing Pride to leap back in a squeak of surprise.

"Trust us, my lord!" Lust pleaded, brushing a loose strand of her short blonde hair, dyed red at the tips. behind her slightly pointed ear. "We meant no harm in what we did! It was playful fun! Pride's the one who made the mistake!" The dark skinned demoness pointed to the glowering male. He glared back at Lust, putting a clawed hand to his chest with his mouth open in offence, showing small fangs.

"How dare you!?" The tan skinned, skinny male hissed. "I did nothing wrong! Influencing a lesser demon's thoughts into trying to raise a rebellion was Wrath's idea!" The demon gestured to the muscular, pale skinned, demoness. She was covered in scars, burn marks, and bite scars. The demoness had short black hair styled in a messy pixie cut. Wrath pulled back her lips and snarled, baring large tusk-like fangs protruding from her bottom jaw.

"It was not supposed to go too far, Envy took it the extra mile!" She pinned it on the other sin.

"No! It was Glut!" Envy, a very feminine demon glared back. Squaring her jaw and expelling large, thin claws out of her fingers. The shirtless demon nodded in the direction of the plump demoness.

"No. It. Wasn't. ME!" The slightly plump, drunken, demoness growled. She had orange hair that was tied up in a messy bun behind her head, framing her fanged, freckled face. The woman's green eyes expressed a great amount of rage. "Sloth is to blame!"

Sloth looked up with a weary expression, his fanged jaw slightly agape. The demon was a little slower than the rest, but he was fiercely loyal to Lucifer. "You.. you don't think I would do this... right?" The slim demon who's pale skin was peppered in scars, that were not inflicted by others, sat kneeling before the devil looked up. His pure black eyes expressed nothing but pain. "Do you my lord?" He asked again.

"Of course he does! It wasn't me! I would've taken all the credit if it was me!" Greed hissed, cutting the obedient Sloth off. "Fuck it all! It was probably Lust or Wrath!" The demon with a strong French accent, light skin, and curly hair pulled into a poofy ponytail growled gesturing to the two demonesses who were now baring their fangs and glaring.

Soon, all the sins had gotten into an argument, trying to pin the failed revolution that they were all at fault for on each other. Lust and Wrath had begun circling each other, throwing insults and trying to get a swipe of their deadly claws in when they could. Sloth was cowering as Greed threw insults to his confident along with debating with Envy, who he had grabbed by the throat. Pride was in a physical fight with Gluttony who was beating the self-obsessed demon so far.

"ENOUGH!" A loud, gruff, voice boomed. All the sins stopped fighting. "It was all of your faults!" The devil added, sending a wave of guilt through the sins. "For punishment for treason against my domain, I will expel your sorry ass up to the Human realm. There, you will take on a mostly human form. Keeping the fangs and claws of course. You will make yourselves new lives there. In their realm, you will not be able to influence their lives, for they will do that themselves."

The sins faces turned to shook and surprise. This was the second worst punishment a demon could endure. The first being having your "sorry ass" sent to Heaven to be punished there. Pride sputtered, trying his best to speak.

Lucifer added as he turned around and motioned for his highest ranking demons to take the sins away and expel them through Hell's gates and to Heaven. Looking over his shoulder he added. "Oh and also..." A malicious, fanged smile formed on his lips.

"The angels can find you there. Have fun sins!"
